Windows 2012 R2 standard to Windows 2022 essentials
Hi, This is probably a stupid question, but can I migrate a Windows 2012 R2 Standard DC to a Windows 2022 Essentials server? One of my clients purchased a brand new Dell server with Windows 2022 Essentials server but his existing DC is a Windows 2012 R2 Standard. There is only 1 DC in his windows domain. Is it possible? Migration of Windows 2012 R2 DC to Windows 2019 with Exchange 2010 CU 30
Hi, One of our customer need to migrate all these DC Windows 2012 R2 to Windows 2019. Somebody have experience with Exchange 2010 CU30 (multiple DAG servers) during a migration of Windows 2012 R2 DC to Windows 2019 DC on the same domain ? It is working ? I know for the forest level 2016 but for the DC? It's not supported on the current Microsoft Matrix : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/Exchange/plan-and-deploy/supportability-matrix?view=exchserver-2019#supported-active-directory-environments But somebody confirmed it on the last post here : https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-server-for-it-pro/exchange-server-2010-amp-windows-server-2019-dcs/m-p/701288 I prefer to be 100% sure before remove the last Windows 2012 R2 DC 🙂 All informations are welcome, Thanks!
