Intune auto pilot international settings
Hi everyone, I'm trying to achieve the following for new computers in autopilot: Set time zone to my time zone Set system locale, culture and windows home location to my country Set a language list to use en-US and my country's language Make sure that my country language is installed on the compute In MECM this is the Apply windows settings which looks like this: The end result I'm looking for is this: I searched the web and also found theCopy-UserInternationalSettingsToSystem, but this is for windows 11... We are still deploying windows 10. I found and tested multiple options such as deploying the LXP and using several powershell commands to apply what I need but it doesn't exactly work. This is my autopilot profile: Is there a way to use some unattended file or any other way to configure the operating system to our international settings? Hello Guys ! A expected ONCE AGAIN Microsoft Cumulative update KB5001391 fails to install on #Windows 20H2 , as this has been the 3rd failed update like previously two KB5000842 and KB5001330. Am I the alone on this planet ? The error message I have received is 0x800f0922. I got a new Laptop HP 8th generation. What is happening inside Microsoft these days ? Shout out loud If you're having the pain like I have these days ? Please Please Please
Compatibility with VB6 and Windows 10 Pro 20H2
Hello, VB6 is supported, according tohttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/visualstudio/visual-basic-6/visual-basic-6-support-policy However, for some reason beyond my understanding, I cannot install the VB6 runtime engine in Windows 10 Pro 20H2, freshly formatted and installed: It fails when registering the com libraries. I've got Windows profiles set up on my PC for members of my family to use. They log into their Microsoft account into their own profile. My daughter has been having a lot of problems running almost all programs she's got on her taskbar. For example, clicking on the File Explorer button on the task bar brings up a window that says: explorer.exe in the window's caption simply the words, "Call not registered" in the main content of the window. But it certainly does NOT bring up File Explorer. What makes matters worse is the search button on the taskbar is completely useless. It doesn't do anything and she cannot type anything into it. Pressing the Windows button on the taskbar is also useless. I've searched the Internet trying to find how to fix this. I'm seeing answer that go all over the place. Everything from uninstalling the last Windows update, to a slew of things to do, one after the other. Here's a sample: Class not registered on Windows 10 [Solved] - Driver Easy I would like to know and I'm hoping someone from Microsoft is monitoring this forum, how do I fix this problem?
The last Windows update made my computer five times slower than it was
This week I was prompted that Windows would end their support for my version of windows and that I had to install 20H2. I found it odd that some people already had that update since way before, but I didn't pay much mind. I did so, and it took forever, after it was done, my computer became quite slow. I saw I still had a couple of updates remaining, so I thought that might help. It did not. I shouldn't have installed this update. I have a Legion Lenovo gaming laptop, y520, which should support heavy games,and barely more than a year old, but now it's slower than my 10 year old Win7 pc. I don't even play games most of the time, if anything DCUO or Gmod, both pretty old games. But my computer now is super slow, and it struggles running something as simple as chrome or Opera. And not even fast tabs. What do I do to go back to my normal speed? Please help this is unbearable. It's almost as if I had a 2gb ram.
Citrix receiver/Workspcase app "fails with SSL Error 61"
Hi, We are experiencing issue with Citrix Workspace App while connecting Citrix resources , it's ending with error "fails with SSL Error 61". The only workaround solution we have Rebuild user profile at client OS level. Any recommendation and troubleshooting steps will be appreciated here. Thanks in adv.
Windows 10 20H2 Restart Issue
Recently, we piloted some machines to Windows 10 20H2 and we run into an issue with the Settings -> Accounts blade. When we go into Account, we get an error message saying that Windows will restart in 1 minute. Other options seems to be ok. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Here's the User32 error log: The process wininit.exe has initiated the restart of computer <logged on username> on behalf of user for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found Reason Code: 0x50006 Shutdown Type: restart Comment: The system process 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073740940.
