skype phone number transfer to teams
Hi Microsoft community. I hope you will be able to help me with this question. In company I work for, we have a skype number set up. We use this skype number for our customer service. Now, since skype is about to reach EOL, and we would like to have better control over this account we want to transfer this number to Teams. This number ,account was created years ago and it was requested as a new number. Therefore, the provider for this number is SKYPE/MICROSOFT. I have read bunch of articles and tutorials on how to port a number to teams, however this (wheatear done by automated wizard in office of send manually to PSTN service desk) requires a lot of information that I don't have. I have credentials to this skype account, phone number that is associated with it, but I can not figure out how to transfer it to teams. Can you please advise ? It really sucks that MS Skype is about to reach EOL and there is no clear information about how to transfer from number from skype to teams. Community Skype for Business Adoption
Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU are not working at all, we need help please
We have already paid for yearly renting of the Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU and these are not working because are not getting redirected after the right settings in place, also the voicemails are not working at all, no settings working at all and after paying there is no one to talk to and report the issue, no email of support, no department of support to send ticket, no phone number, absolutely nothing to provide you support as client for something that you paid and is not working!!! I have tried to adjust the settings based on the forms from the Skype app for windows also from the Skype app for web and I tried both the redirect also the voicemail and none of them working to be setup. So disappointed and we already paid for 1 year in advance for both of them. We need help!
Skype for Business on-prem without Exchange Hybrid - autodiscover configuration?
We completed a migration of all Exchange users to Office 365 several months ago, and we have one remaining Exchange Hybrid server. We have our phone system that is currently Skype for Business (planned to be replaced with Teams in 6+ months), and we want to get rid of the last Exchange server. Exchange is currently providing autodiscover for S4B, and I am looking for guidance on what steps we need to do (and if it is possible) to re-point autodiscover to the S4B Front-End pool so that we can remove the last Exchange Server. Dear Sir/Madam, I have a Poly Voyager 4220 Series and it's always stuck on mute whenever I muted it. The problem is, once muted, I couldn't unmute it anymore. The workaround is, I had to choose a different device, unmute, then choose Poly BT600 so I can speak again. But I don't have this problem with Microsoft Teams. I used to have another headset Poly blackwire 3220 series, that works just fine. I can mute/unmute as I wish. Best regards, CalvinTeams\Skype Room Deployment Kit
Hello All, I am attempting to deploy the Teams Room Deployment kit via the CreateSRSMedia.ps1 script and I am running into some troubles finding the correct version of Windows OS build to use with the latest SRS Deployment Toolkit. When running the script, with the following Windows installation media, I get the following error: Your Windows installation media is version 10.0.19041.867. Your SRSv2 kit requires version 10.0.18362.418. Please enter the path to the root of your Windows install media: I am currently using Win_Pro_10_20H2.5_64BIT_English_Ent ISO which was downloaded from the Volume Licensing Center. What is confusing me is, what is version 10.0.19041.867 and what is SRSv2 version 10.0.18362.418? Also, how do we determine which SRS kit we use for which build? Also, I downloaded the latest version of the CreateSRSMedia script as well. I am hoping ANYONE can re-direct me to the correct OS build for the latest SRS Deployment Toolkit, 4.8.19.0?

Bonjour à tous, Je suis actuellement en entreprise et nous organisons beaucoup de meetings et beaucoup de séminaires à partir d'invitation Skype, Voilà ma problématique quand nous parcourons les slides tout se passe très bien, mais quand nous voulons lire une vidéo qui est incorporée dans le PowerPoint aucun son ne fonctionne. Quand je clique sur l'icône du son rien ne se passe. C'est exactement la même chose quand je veux diffuser une vidéo. (l'appel se met en attente et j'ai ce message) Avez-vous une solution ou déjà rencontrer ce problème ? Cordialement, Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.
Audio Settings with laptop for two different locations
Hey, I have a user with a laptop. While in the office he is connected to a docking station and is running BTOE. He has his Poly Phone as the audio device for skype for business calls. He also has external speakers for everything else and that setup is working without issue. At home he also has a docking station but he does not have a poly phone, for Skype calls he wants to use his External speakers and a MIC that is attached to a webcam. When he plugs into the dock at work everything works fine, but when he goes home and plugs in his audio settings are messed up and he having problems getting them to what he wants. Is there anyway to setup two different profiles, one for home and one for the office or something that I can do to make sure his settings stick for the office and for home? I'm using skype for business. In my group meetings, When I'm talking, skype shows me as 'speaking' but continue shows me as speaking for 10 seconds after there is a silence from my part. the other people have the same headset but don't have the same problem. Even when I'm using the mute botton from my microphone, I shown as 'speaking' for 10 seconds after the mute. I'm using windows 7 Can anyone please help me? Thank you
