Teams and Channels
4 TopicsNav button for channel "Notes" tab only shows pages for a section; can no longer see all sections
Has anyone noticed that the Notes tab within a standard channel will not allow you to see any other sections of a team's notebook? For example, if you create 3 new channels and click on the Notes tab in each one, it will create a corresponding section in the team's notebook. You used to be able to click on the navigation button from any Notes tab to expose all the sections of the notebook. Right now, all the navigation button does is show you all the pages of the section linked to that channel. In order to see all the sections of the team's notebook, you need to either launch it from OneNote for the Web or the OneNote desktop app. Did Microsoft purposely remove that capability recently? I haven't seen any communication from them about it.327Views0likes0Comments[SOLVED] Unable to Cancel Teams Channel Meeting despite restore
[UPDATE] - a little more patience seems to have resolved the issue. Seems something on the back end takes time to re-establish connectivity. How to cancel a restored recurring meeting? I deleted a channel with a reoccurring meeting in. Upon restore however, the meeting is no longer valid within the channel and I am unable to cancel the series. From Teams Calendar, it is still a valid meeting with all previous recordings and discussions included. However, I can cancel it for myself in Outlook, but I would like to cancel it for all members (100+ people) which is not possible. It claims I am the organiser: When opening the series via Teams Calendar I see this at the top, and the channel is not listed (just the parent team group) When opening from the restored channel I get this: Deleting the channel does not delete the event. I am trying to explore an option to get notified in Teams Channel as soon as an email lands in a specific inbox folder. Is there a feature that support this? I tried to set up a rule for the folder to forward a copy of the email to Teams channel email. However, this is not working and it keeps saying it is not supported when I tried to run the rule. As long as I get notified on a specific teams channel if a email arrives in a folder, I am good. Hi Team, I need some information regarding a MS Teams account. Basically I would like to know what type of permissions needed by an account on MS Teams to post any message to any Teams and Channels. I understand that the account will be in my organization's active directory. Trying to understand the permissions required by an account to achieve my above mentioned requirements. It would be grateful, if I can get any contact to discuss this via email or teams call. Thanks, Reshmi Gupta1.7KViews0likes3Comments
