Startmenu
4 TopicsI want to be able to group app icons on Start menu - Windows 11
for example I want to put PWAs icons in one group, put Photo related app/software icons in another group and so on. Ideally I want to do this by dragging an icon on start menu and dropping it on another icon to form a group - Windows 11 insider Upvote in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAdps2r26KViews27likes22CommentsMise à jour Windows 11 Insider
Hi, First of all, the search bar at top of the start menu is a good idea imo, but now, its closes the start menu and opens the search tab. Start menu closes, new search window opens, they do not have the same size, there is always a closing and reopening effect going on. I think thats not a good user experience. I wanted to share some opinions: It would be better if the that transition happens without closing the start menu and reopening the search menu. Some quick resizing animation like expansion shrinking would make that transition better imo. Second one is the functionality of the search bar at top of the start menu. Currently it does not have a filtering or searching in quick start apps or on all applications context. It would be wonderful if the search bar filters the the applications in the all applications or quick start apps menu, rather than opening the search window from scratch. https://youtu.be/-FbiQqB1zls476Views0likes0CommentsTaskbar and Startmenu for all Users
Hi everyone, I want to create a Default-Startmenu and Taskbar Layout for Users. I know how to export the Start-Layout File using (Export-Startlayout) but i cant figure out how to get the Taskbar in the .xml... Taskbar should look like this: I know how to get the Edge and Explorer in this (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/configure-windows-10-taskbar#sample-taskbar-configuration-added-to-start-layout-xml-file) but what's about Cortana and TaskView? By default Cortana is in Full-Mode and TaskView is shown in the Taskbar - how can I edit it? Greetings Yannik Schulz1.7KViews0likes0Comments
