When I run CreateSRSMedia.ps1 under an Administrator PowerShell console, I get an error: “Cannot convert the "System.Object[]" value of type "System.Object[]" to type "System.Version". At line:1 char:1” (Running it from C:\MTR\CreateSRSMedia.ps1). No useful information on what went wrong provided. Any idea what could be wrong??? It is step #1 on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/room-systems/console#prepare-the-installation-media I opened a Premier Performance Support ticket, but haven't been able to get a tech who knows what that script is so far. 😞Solved9.6KViews0likes8CommentsSkype Room System Error skype-mrx:// class not registered
It appears the Surface our SRS (V2 I believe) only updated to Windows 10 1607 yesterday, which is now causing the error "Skype-mrx:// class not registered" when the Skype Room System tried to load. We cannot restore or uninstall the update, or see a way to upgrade to 1703 as Windows only tries to upgrade to 1709, which appears to be unsupported currently. Does anyone know if there is a way we can resolve this error?6.8KViews0likes6CommentsUpdating Microsoft Teams Rooms manually
Hello, For the first time I am trying to update our Microsoft Teams Rooms VC units, and I am using the deployment package MSI. We have the Windows Store disabled in our organization. I am using the PowerShell command that was included on a Microsoft support webpage, but it doesn't seem to work. Add-AppxPackage -Update -ForceApplicationShutdown -Path "$PSScriptRoot\*.appx" -DependencyPath (Get-ChildItem "$PSScriptRoot\Dependencies\x64\*.appx" | Foreach-Object {$_.FullName}) I get the following error: Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D19, An error occurred because a user was logged off. Windows cannot update package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because the previous version is not installed. Install package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe instead of updating it. NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 in the Event Log or use the command line Get-AppxLog -ActivityID 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 But if I remove the -update parameter, then it works fine. But I still see the old and new version installed under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ so I am guessing that isn't right. Can anyone provide some guidance to what might be wrong? Thank you!Solved5.6KViews0likes2CommentsTeams Room System Unable to Fetch Calendar after the update to 4.3.21.0
We are starting to get an issue after the Teams Room System Update 4.3.21.0. error on the display cannot fetch calendar (skype sign in is fine) We did a trace and we don't see anything block from our environment to Microsoft. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? pretty sure because of the update, the rest of our teams room system with the older version is fine.Solved6.5KViews0likes10CommentsSkype Room System - Cannot fetch calendar
Hi, We have a about a dozen Skype Room System units (both the Surface and Lenovo Hub 500) deployed in our environment, installed with SRS version 4.0.64.0, Windows version 10.0.16299.785 and they all have the error message "cannot fetch calendar". Some background history: This message appeared during a Exchange on-prem -> cloud migration, and was expected because of our autodiscover records still pointing to the on-prem server. It was also expected that it would be fixed by itself once we updated our autodiscover records to point to the cloud, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. We are currently running on a Skype for Business 2013 server on-prem, and Exchange Online (hybrid) Troubleshooting: I first thought this was autodiscover related, because of what i mentioned above. I have tried to manually add the cloud autodiscover server to the hosts file a few of the systems, that did not help. Further step was checking that the licensing in Office 365 is ok, all accounts have E3 license. Installed Office 365 proplus on a few of the systems, to check if sign-in to to a normal desktop version of SFB worked and it did. The SFB client read the calendar and everything worked as it should. Created a new meeting room account in the cloud Re-installed one of the systems (worth a shot) Now, if i try with a room mailbox account only existing on our on-prem server, it works. I have looked through many SRS articles here with the same problem, and i noticed someone mentioned that it was ADFS related, but i am not sure where to look. At this point i am lost, and am hoping one of you brilliant people could help me out. Also, happy new year!11KViews1like10CommentsIssue - Skype Room System external display
Hello, I'm currently having some issues, we have a logitech group system, with the LenovoSmart display, and in the smart display even though it shows the scheduled meetings, it doesn't populate the meeting name, instead it shows the name of the person who created the meeting, twice. Any way to fix this ? Thanks in advanceSolved1.4KViews0likes5CommentsSkype Room System v3 - wireless Display
we are planning to roll out some SRS to our Meeting Rooms. Actualy we use microsoft wireless display adapter in our rooms to connect to the beamer, now we would like the same functionality on the SRS box. Is there any possibility to use Miracast (like the Windows Connect App) to share a remote screen in SRS? We tried to add a microsoft wireless display adapter to the HDMI In Port of the Logitech Smartdock but it does not work, the display remains blank. We're running Skype Room Systems v2 and by design, when someone book a conference room with SRS and marking it as Private, the meeting is set to Private Meeting on the SRS dashboard as expected. This is important since conference rooms are often in more open/public areas and meeting subjects sometime can reveal sensitive information. However, if any user press Join (which can be done hours prior to the meeting), either by intent or by mistake, the SRS systems opens up the meeting and reveals the meeting subject, even if the meeting is marked as Private: This can't be right! Get-CalendarProcessing setting -RemovePrivateProperty $false so that is correct. I suspect that Exchange is all set but when SRS joins the meeting, it shows the Skype for Business Online meeting subject and there's no functionality to have this "private". Any ideas/comments or is this something that simply has to be fixed in SRS?1.7KViews0likes6Comments
