It appears the Surface our SRS (V2 I believe) only updated to Windows 10 1607 yesterday, which is now causing the error "Skype-mrx:// class not registered" when the Skype Room System tried to load. We cannot restore or uninstall the update, or see a way to upgrade to 1703 as Windows only tries to upgrade to 1709, which appears to be unsupported currently. we are planning to roll out some SRS to our Meeting Rooms. Actualy we use microsoft wireless display adapter in our rooms to connect to the beamer, now we would like the same functionality on the SRS box. Is there any possibility to use Miracast (like the Windows Connect App) to share a remote screen in SRS? We tried to add a microsoft wireless display adapter to the HDMI In Port of the Logitech Smartdock but it does not work, the display remains blank. Hi there We have purchased a Logitech Meetup as well as a Logitech Smartdock with a Surface Pro on which we have installed the Skype Meeting Room System image. We now have the problem that the webcam image is flickering due to the powerline frequency. We couldn't find anywhere under settings that allowed us to change the frequency the same way it can be done in the SfB desktop application. We have tried installing the Camera Settings tool from Logitech as the local admin, but unfortunately couldn't boot the device afterwards - so we will try it again... but until then I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue and whether you found a solution?Solved6.5KViews0likes5CommentsSkype Room Systems on Logitech smartdock. We have had a multitude of issues with the Smartdock/SRS we purchased to demo/test. We purchased the package from Logitech with the Surface pre-imaged, so we did not image ourselves. Currently the device is not domain joined. The main issue right now is that the unit locks up completely from time to time. I have tried rebooting it daily in the early morning, but it seems to happen randomly (and usually when someone is having an important meeting). Currently the Surface is on Windows 10 1703 with all other current updates installed. Skype Room System app is on 3.1.100.0 It is kind of strange when it freezes, and I've literally been using the device when it happens. When it locks up, you can still see "halo" around the touch input on the screen where you press your finger to the screen. However, no input of any kind is registered. Also notable is that I've tried accessing the SRS with our remote support tool while it's in this state. Through Bomgar, I can move the "cursor" but again, no inputs register. I can force reboot through Bomgar or using the power button. Is it safe to update the Surface firmware and drivers? My Skype Room System v2 running version 3.0.16 are having join issues 50% of the time. When you try to join a meeting, it will try and connect, after 5 seconds disconnects and sends me back to the main screen. Has anyone heard if SRS will eventually support more file types for content? Just supporting Powerpoint is making our Smartdock almost un-usable. We badly need SRS to support excel and pdf's at least. If it did this, it would be the perfect fit. Thanks for any info or comments. Craig776Views1like0Comments
