Skype Room Systems Content

Has anyone heard if SRS will eventually support more file types for content?  Just supporting Powerpoint is making our Smartdock almost un-usable.  We badly need SRS to support excel and pdf's at least.  If it did this, it would be the perfect fit.  Thanks for any info or comments.
