Hi, I am trying to renew our external Edge certificate but find I am unable to complete the process as during the renewal in the Deployment Wizard I am warned that "FQDNs in your request may contain reserved or special top level domains, and are likely to be rejected if the request is submitted to a public Certificate Authority". I can see two local domain names which are automatically added as Subject Alternative Names during the renewal wizard and I am unable to remove them. I would appreciate any help with resolving this if possible. Regards Nigel702Views0likes0CommentsSkype hanging - can't uninstall

Hi All, I would just like to know if we have a tool that we can use to test our Skype for business connectivity issue. I normally check the status through Teams but i do not understand what should be the acceptable Jitter and round trip result. Please see attached sample. I would really appreciate if you could give me some advise on how we can optimise/stabilise our Skype for business connectivity. Looking forward to receive your expert opinions William1.2KViews0likes4CommentsIssues with caller ID
Hey all, one of our users (at least we think it is only one) is having issues with caller ID, note that we use skype for business/O365 online. For example: When he calls me I see his proper skype/office # on the caller ID because he is calling me from his skype for business account....but if I miss the call, I do get an email notification....but in the details it shows as if the call came from his mobile #. Any idea where the issue could be? I did notice something in the desktop client settings...under Options - Phones, I do see his office and mobile #s listed, but am unable to change the mobile# because the "Mobile Phone" button is greyed out (see attached image) I found this article that said its an admin setting, but I can't find it anywhere...again, not sure if this is the cause but figured I would mention it. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/change-my-phone-number-for-skype-for-business-20e03cc1-c023-4e5d-bafd-064ddb59ed5e?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US Thoughts??1KViews0likes1CommentAA Voice Dial has stopped working
We have voice dialling enabled on an AA line that we have set up for the soul purpose of making it very easy for our users to call/transfer to anyone else in our Org - it's the killer feature of SfB for us. Unfortunately I came into work this morning to find that it's stopped working (and everyone's too scared to pick up the phone now in case they have to transfer the call). Anyway, waiting for MS to call back but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue? Worried in case there's some kinda Teams nonsense is messing things up in the background. I dial the AA and ask for "James Maddison", the auto response says "...I think you said 'James Maddison', is that correct...?". I say "...Yes...", then after a brief pause I'm told, "...Sorry, I couldn't find anyone with this name...".828Views0likes0Commentsintegration with skype business

I need to have contact information, call calls, connected calls, etc., he has been looking at the sdkweb and the UCWA but I can not run the examples. If someone can guide me, I appreciate it.1.2KViews0likes1CommentSFB Bandwidth Calculation Made Easy
We have always been asked "how much WAN bandwidth is required for SFB based on X numbers of users" ? If we didn't set required and expected bandwidth right for customers, I am very sure you will persistently hear "poor Audio/Video quality and performance" from them. It's critical that we have a base bandwidth requirement stipulated and aligned customer's expection from the very beginning to ensure that customer is fully aware of how much bandwidth SFB will potentially consume based on a number of combined scenarios and to determine if a customer's current network meets calculated SFB bandwidth requirement. I devised a very concrete and verifiable bandwidth requirement calculator for that. I don't mean this to be a laser-like-precision or military-grade-precision, but I did design this calculator to have a micro-torch-like-precision with continuous improvements along the way. Whenever we meet with customers, we would be able to calculate SFB bandwidth requirement confidently and comfortably using this excel-based calculator. Please stress to customers that this calculation is "only and strictly for SFB" - No other traffics are considered. I made this calculator extremely simple and easy to use while maintaining accuracy. All you need to do is just "select number of concurrent users in respective scenarios" and you are done - nothing could be simpler than that.
