Hi, I was wondering if there any newer documentation on how to setup Modern Auth with Skype For Business 2015? Skype for businesss Sign in event received after a lot of delay after restart from sleep/ hibernate
Hello all, Issue with my LyncClient is that I have observed a 2/ 3 minutes delay in getting event for SkypeForBusiness SignedIn after restart from sleep/ hibernate. This issue is not observed on development machine but in customer environment. I read somewhere that these events are received from SFB server and the delay can be because server takes time to sync the events with the client. I am registering for the event using following code during app startup Client.StateChanged += new EventHandler<ClientStateChangedEventArgs>(Client_StateChanged); Any assistance will be helpful.aka.ms/skypecap - An error occured.
Hi there We have a couple of Polycom VVX phones which are logging through aka.ms/skypecap. But it seems like the service is down, any idea what is going on? Or is there an alternative way to sign-in polycom VVX phones? CAP objects are hosted on Teams btw. Thanks, Luca
Polycom VVX 411 Signing out Users at Random
Hello, We are about to roll out Polycom VVX411 phones using SfB but in our testing users are getting logged out seemingly randomly between 7-30 days. They do get an error "Exchange authentication failed. Sign out and sign in again." on their Polycom phones about 1-2 hours before the phone actually logs them out. We are running Polycom UC Software version 5.9.3.2857 We have MFA enabled for our end users also. We are using SfB and Exchange online, nothing on-prem. Has anyone seen or fixed this issue in their environment? Thanks!

Can't sign in with the error message "You can't sign in with this version of Skype for Business. Please install a newer version. I have the latest version installed. My phone is up to date. Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Yes I have tried using the advanced options. This has persisted for over a week with me unable to log in.
authenticating with an access token
Has anyone tried authenticating with an access token (using -AadAccessToken or -MsAccessToken)? The old version of New-CsOnlineSession had an -OAuthAccessToken param, which accepted a jwt with the PS permissions in the scope, which one could obtain silently, and so avoid login. New-CsOnlineSession has been dropped and the SfB Connector is end of life in July and Connect-MicrosoftTeams does appear to support token for the telephony functions.
Skype for Business(On premise) MFA using thirdparty MFA provider
Hi Team, I saw Skype for business app/mobile app can be configured for MFA using Modern authentication . I read on Microsoft documentation MFA can be done using Azure AD and ADFS. Is it possible to configure it using any external IDP or federation server sitting on premise without using Azure AD(Cloud). We have vendors like Ping, IBM which supports federation server+MFA capability I request you to please provide any input you have on this type of integration. Do Skype for Business 2015 uses LDAP to communicate to Active Directory (Domain Controllers) and clients? checking first before we disable LDAP in favour of LDAPS. If yes, please help to provide documents or how do I check if LDAP is really in used? Also, if yes, how can we change LDAP to LDAPS communication if we want to disable LDAP? Thanks in advance.
