ShareGate - People webpart doesn't show Author details after copy
We are trying to copy a site page from source to destination. After copying, in the destination, we don't see the Author info in the web part. It just shows the "Author" text as given: We had to manually edit the page and add the Author. How to ensure that the webpart also copied along with the page?
Sharegate Manage tool: Can you customize text in Ask Owner(s) email
In the Sharegate Manage portal, you can click the Teams with guests or shared links to review button, select the given group(s), and then click the Ask owner(s) button. This sends an email to owners that looks something like the attached example. Is it possible to edit any part of the default text "Please review the guest within this team as soon as possible" or the signature "Your IT Admin"? In particular, they want to change "as soon as possible" to "by April 1" or "within 14 days" and the "Your IT Admin" signature to "Your ESO Team", for example. We'll most likely end up sending the emails from the Policies section > External sharing review, but the email verbiage is the same from either location. I've attached screenshots of the two ways of sending the email notification for reference.
SharePoint Online Calendar View Error
Hello SharePoint Community! So I just migrated a calendar list from On Prem 2016 to SharePoint Online using ShareGate and it was mostly successful. There were a few columns that didn't transfer over because they were Infowise columns in On Prem. Once the migration of that list was complete I found that I got an error when trying to open the list in the calendar view. The error was "Sorry, something went wrong. An unexpected error has occurred." I tried the All Events view which is not a calendar view and everything showed up perfectly. When I tried to create a new calendar view, it threw the same error. I tried filtering the calendar view based on indexed columns. Still no luck. From On Prem, the calendar views had a calendar overlay and they worked, this could be part of the problem, maybe it's not liking that in SPO. But I can't get in there at all to change the overlay settings because none of the calendar views will load. I created a new calendar list in SPO that is disconnected from the one giving me problems and the calendar view works perfectly. Any ideas as to what is causing this error? I'm having trouble finding relevant solutions on other forums. Thank you for your help!
