FSLogix - 48v35 error at Microsoft login prompt in AVD
I'm resposting from this thread to hopefully create more attention for this problem: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/outlk_win-outtop_new-outsub_ofb/outlook-error-message-somehting-went-wrong-48v35/97d7ff71-8a58-40c8-8726-adf3d1f095b8 Me and other admins (from reposted thread) have specific users who experience M365 authentication problems after upgrading to the latest FSLogix version(s) that offers support for New Teams. The error occurs in the Azure Virtual Desktop environment, when a user tries to open a Microsoft application (Outlook, OneDrive etc.). Not all users have the problem that they need to reauthenticate, or can't authenticate at all, with the 48v35 error. The users who do however, repeatedly get the same error after a few days or a week. We tried multiple things, like removing the Microsoft.AADBrokerPlugin directory or creating a completely new FSLogix profile, but the problem stays for these users. In my case I am using the FSLogix setting RoamIdentity=1. Is there any news from FSLogix on this issue? Or does anyone have workarounds to share? I would like to update more customer environments to use the New Teams, but with these issues I would rather wait.
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) drag and drop files
In some situations, it is handy to drag and drop files from a local endpoint to for example AVD remote app. For example when using Outlook on the local endpoint and wanting to archive attachments in the ERP application (legacy app) hosted in a remote app. Copy and paste works but is not user-friendly in this situation.
Problem with Microsoft Remote Desktop app on MAC
Hello, After updating to the latest version, we have a problem connecting to the RDP server. All the time we get this message: 0x3707 An authentication error has occured, possibly because NTLM authentication was blocked on the remote computer Could you please help us how to fix it? Bug with profile picture on AVD / Windows 11 Multi-User
My organization has seen multiple occurrences where a different user's profile picture/icon is shown besides their own. This has been seen in the OS under Start (lower left corner) as well as in Settings -> Accounts. No issues have been seen with Teams or Outlook only the profile picture shown within the OS. Have not seen anything similar with our on-premise Citrix machines. Not a high priority issue obviously but would like to raise awareness. If anyone has ideas, please let me know what information I can gather to start troubleshooting! Thank you.
[Enterprise Customer Feedback] - AVD Forced Log Off
After going over the issue with support, we couldn't find a solution that an end user can self-service themselves to rectify when an AVD session host is having a performance issue. The host session VM booted up per our scaling policy at 7:45 a.m. and immediately had a User Profile service error. When the first attempted session connection occurred about 15 minutes later, it failed to load the session and only left the user with a black screen. Disconnecting and relaunching the session still placed them in the session hung session. We employ a disconnected session log-off policy of 120 total minutes. It would take at least 2 hours without user interaction for a session to fully terminate. There is no way a user can force log off their session in either the web client or Azure Virtual Desktop client. The only option available is to disconnect but it maintains the session live in the backend. My suggestion for a feature request is to add a logoff/force-logoff option in both the web client and AVD client at a minimum. And, an option for the end user to avoid a new session connection to the host that was having the issue. This might limit productivity time loss as IT works on rectifying the issue. Very good solution for building AVD image easly in Azure. Here is my french blog article just below. My feedback : - First try I get an image build error because 2 resources providers were not registered on my Azure subscription : Microsoft.VirtualMachineImages Microsoft.KeyVault - Second try it worked well, just you have to wait 2 hours without so much information - After checks, only country and clock was not OK All good except those 2 minor points ! Enable Screen Capture Protection via Host Pool settings
Dear product group, a feature that is key for security departments when using AVD / WVD is Screen Capture Protection. It would be super helpful to be able to enable / disabled the feature from within the Host Pool properties for the increased administrative experience. Thank you!
