Screensharing
6 TopicsScreen Sharing not working in latest version
Hi all, Anyone else, that has problem with screen sharing in the current preview version? My Teams Version: 25007.606.3361.4724 My Clientversion: 49/25010620407 If i share my screen (regardless if full monitor or single app), the other users only see, that I am trying to share something, but never get the content visible. The only users that can see my content shared, are using the preview version as well. I tested it with one normal user and one with preview in the same call. The latter one was able to see the screen, the other one not. I have found a workaround right now: If I am in a call with a normal user, I can share the screen, if we start recording for a few seconds and stop it then. As long as recording has run at least for a few seconds, everyone can see my shared screen. I faced that issue for the first time last week.Cropped WebRTC Screenshare when consuming from Edge
Hi, I am not fully sure this is the place for this issue, let me know otherwise and apologies in advance if it is not. I work with WebRTC and have recent reports that people consuming screen share produced by Chrome (in any platform) causes Edge (114) in Windows to consume the stream as cropped (only a portion of the original stream is consumed). I don't have much information yet since I wasn't able to reproduce myself by any means, the only thing that I could say is that Edge is 114, the codec stream involved is AV1, I've deployed another version to force these users to to publish using H264 and will update this thread as soon as I got more information. Could you help me with any clue about what could be the issue? Didn't find anything on the internet. [UPDATE] Edge Beta (115.0.1901.157 (Official build) beta (64-bit)): repro the issue Edge Dev (116.0.1938.10 (Official build) dev (64-bit)): works fine Edge Canary (117.0.1963.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)): works fine [UPDATE] It does only happen when Edge Hardware Acceleration is turned on, if you turned off the issue is no longer reproducible. It also seems to happen most likely on high end machines. Bellow there are samples about how it looks and how it should look. Any help is highly appreciated!570Views0likes0CommentsTeams always shares both Screens
Hey there, we are using Teams for several months now. Sharing our screens is a very important function, as you can imagine. We got one user that has a problem with it: She got two screens and when she is trying to share e.g. screen 1, Teams always shares both screens. You can select just screen 1, but it doesn't effect the shared area. Also, the famous "Red Band" is around both screens. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks a lot! Hi everyone! I am using MS Teams on my MacBook and since a couple of months I am only able to share the whole screen or use the PowerPoint Live option, however, the "window" sharing is not available for some reason. For example, I have an Excel file opened and I want to share it, but when I click on share "window" there is always one widow with the current call in Teams. Could anyone help me with this, please?5.5KViews1like2CommentsPresenting in Teams meeting interupted by other participants
During a digital knowledge café that was organised last Thursday (3th June 2021), we experienced technical problems with Teams. A collegue shared the presentation as organiser. If one of the participants entered the meeting with camera on or turned the camera on during the meeting, this person would appear full screen on everyone's screen and it was no longer possible to see the presentation. The colleague had to stop sharing and then share the presentation again. This happened about 8 times! Now another colleague tells me that the same problem occurred today at another meeting in another department. Are more people experiencing this problem? And is this a bug or a simple fix?Solved1.4KViews0likes1CommentScreen not visible to others while Screensharing using MS Teams
Screen is not visible to others when an user is doing Screensharing using Teams. The issue is occurring only with one user at the moment and NOT with anyone else. This is a new corporate Windows 10 Version 1909 machine and the user had logged in for the first time. The same user has another Win10 machine where the issue doesn't occur. Do you have any suggestions?3.6KViews0likes5Comments
