Hi, I need to develop a Leave Request System similar to this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DfW8yT-4NA However, that video only shows a demo of how it works but not how to develop it. Can I know how to develop the system similar to that video step by step without any help from any 3rd party tools? As I'm totally a beginner at SharePoint? Thank you. I have a modern SharePoint site, with a modern list that has never been associated with classic SharePoint features. But today, two users have experienced intermittent instances of the list appearing in the classic interface. They have not accessed this site before now so I do not believe there should be a cache issue. Does anyone know why this is happening and how it's possible when this site has no association with Classic features? They are using the same browser, same permissions across the site but sometimes the list opens in Classic mode, sometimes it opens in Modern. It also is happening in incognito mode. They are unable to use the site while in Classic Interface at all - the people pickers deny them access ("Error: Sorry, you do not have permission to query for users" and they cannot edit anything because of this error.209Views0likes2CommentsSharePoint view filtered to Me
Hello! Is it possible to create a view, or JSON format a view, when a field contains my information that is not a people picker field? I have a multiple line of text field where I enter a JSON object with user emails. Is there a way to change the view to only show the line item if that text field contains my email? I have tried using that field with Contains [Me] but that does not work. Presumably as [Me] is for people picker fields. Is there a way to add a filter to the view to look for my email?132Views0likes1CommentWhat Are the Best Practices for Implementing Microsoft Power Automate in a Growing Organization?

Hello! Is it possible to add a Power Automate button from the list view in a SharePoint list to the Form view? I was hoping that when a line item is open to view, we may be able to add this button onto the Form view as well somehow? Even just as a hyperlink and not a button? Just something clickable.107Views0likes2CommentsSharePoint modern page, can you adjust responsive design?
Specifically, is there any way to control the window width at which webparts start to stack? My specific situation is similar to the one in this discussion. In my case, I have 3 tall, thin photos that need to display on a page. I have placed 3 image webparts, one in each column of a 3-column section. This looks fine in a wide window. But as I narrow the window, at far too wide of a window width, the section switches to stack the "columns," leaving the user looking at the top 25% of the first photo only. (Which not surprisingly is pretty useless; one needs to see all of a photo.) In both my case and the previous discussion, the problem is that the responsive design thresholds are far too wide (often wider than the physical computer monitor that some are using). Is it possible to fix the thresholds?75Views0likes0Comments- 174Views0likes1Comment
SharePoint List - How to open Edit Current View option in same Tab
Hi All, Currently I am using SharePoint Online site collection. In that list if I click on Edit current view option from any view then it open in new Tab to edit view settings. How to open that in the same Tab? As in SharePoint 2013 if you modify list view then it opens in same Tab so this same behavior want in SharePoint Online. Is there any way to open in same Tab on SharePoint Online List. Thanks, Harish Patil143Views0likes2CommentsCarousel suddenly stretching images
Has anyone seen that the carousel layout for news is suddenly stretching or distorting image instead of smartly orienting them, like it used to? This seems to have started this past week, so I'm guessing an update has changed something. Is there a specific dimension that images need to be now if you plan to display them in a carousel layout?93Views1like1CommentStruggling to filter News from one site to another
Hello Community, simple usecase: I have multiple Sites in one hub called Intranet. My main hubsite is sites/intranet. I have another site called sites/IT. On that site, I've added a managed metadata coloumn to the pages library with tags like "information security", "AI", "Cybersecurity".... to tag my news on sites/IT Now, I would like to place a news webpart on sites/intranet, which filters for a) only news from sites/IT b) only news with the tag "cybersecurity". I cannot seem to find the correct coloumn to filter for, what am I doing wrong? I tried adding the "same" managed metadata coloumn to sites/intranet. "same" as in create a new coloumn, give it the same metadata choice and give it the same name. If thats the mistake, how do i really create a hub-wite Coloumn in SharePoint online? Thanks in Advance220Views0likes3Comments
