Another Great Edge classic feature has been added to the new Edge, - Text Preferences
This is in Edge insider Canary Version 80.0.351.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) Today's update This is from Edge classic All the 22 colors are now available in the new Edge's Immersive reader mode (Reading View) the option is enabled by default on Edge insider canary channel. you can try it in here I remember asking this around 2 months ago in a post and now it's finally here, so Thank you @DevelopersTrying to figure out the logic behind Immersive reader mode
The Immersive reader mode button appears on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/scripting/samples/changing-computer-state?view=powershell-7 but it doesn't appear on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-policies both websites are Microsoft docs, articles, perfectly made for Immersive reader mode. I'm using Edge insider Version 80.0.341.0 Canary 64-bit My suggestion: make it a fixed button so it will be there for all web pages.[FIXED] Reading View Not working in Microsoft's own websites!
UPDATE: Got fixed in the last update. Here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/install/hardware-and-software-requirements-2019 when i click on Reading View's book icon, it gives me this: turned off other extensions to make sure they are not interfering with the page load It gets more weird when on another Microsoft Docs article page the Reading View button doesn't even appear, like here for example: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/SharePoint/hybrid/plan-sharepoint-server-hybrid but when i choose another article from the left bar then the button appears and it works. there is definitely a bug in Edge canary that needs a fix. again it won't hurt if you just make the reading view a fixed button instead of trying to recognize the page content first because right now the detection method is not working well.
