Missing Skype calls on mobile device
When my phone is active and I have the Skype app up, I can receive calls just fine. However, if my phone has been inactive for a period, and I'm not in the Skype app, then the Skype status changes to "Away" and I miss any incoming calls. I would expect to recieve Skype calls whether I'm activly in the Skype app or not. I've remove the app/reinstalled it, and get the same result. I've also tried it on multiple phones and OS's and get the same result. Skype for Business Online Broadcast - streamsplitting by Riverbed/Cisco WAAS feasible?
hello Community As alternative to using ECDN solutions (Kollective, Hyves) to mimize WAN impact, would one of the tradditional WAN Optimization solutions - Riverbed or Cisco WAAS - be able to deliver streamsplitting for the Skype Online Broadcast traffic? i have not been able to find such evidence or recommendation of Microsoft yet. If not feasible, I would be interested to understand the reason. Can you provide some insight into the protocols used by Broadcast (RDP? VBSS?) ? thanks in advance.
