Font to "Finish" tab becomes white on Project for the web
This is something I noticed very recently on Project For The Web. I noticed that dates on my Finish column becomes white if the task is not marked100% complete. The date becomes visible again once the task is marked completed. (see below) Anyone has any idea on how to fix this? Would definitely need to see the finish dates of my incomplete tasks!
Project for the Web start and end times
We have a business requirement to set start and end times (or could be start time and duration) for tasks. During a go-live, we plan tasks to the 15 minute increment. For example, we need to specify that Task1 starts at 9:00, Task 2 at 9:15, Task 3 at 9:30, task 4 at 10:15, etc. I feel like there should be Start/End DateTime field types, but cannot find such a thing. Thoughts?
Can no longer Deactivate Projects
I can't deactivate projects. The last time this worked was a few months ago but just noticed it last week. When I try, I get the following message: Hours per day : Required fields must be filled in. Hours per week : Required fields must be filled in. Days per month : Required fields must be filled in. This sounds like a calendar template issue and I suspect it may be related because we did create a custom calendar template to include weekends. However, the projects I am trying to deactivate are using the default calendar. I cannot find where those fields are to satisfy the requirement. I am using Microsoft project for the web as project management solution for my customer. I am trying to automate project operations by creating template from existing projects in project for the web as perhttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/project-operations/project-management/dev-copy-project. However it is not copying values in custom columns created in project and project task entity in dataverse. I have added these columns inCopy Project Columns and Copy Project Task Columns views but still not working. Need help!
How to delete/remove Team Member from a Project in Project for the Web?
Hello, We're using the Project for the Web accelerator Power App. A bookable resource can be added directly to a Project via the Project's Resources tab or if they're assigned to a Task. When they are added to a Project, they will show up under the Resources tab as a "Team Member" (in the "Project Team Members"/"msdyn_projectteam" table). However, when I try to Delete them from the Project's Resource tab, I get the following error: If I delete all of their Tasks or unassign them from all Tasks, they still show as a Team Member under the Resources table and still cannot be deleted. How can we delete a Team Member from a Project within P4W? Thanks, Adil
Project for the Web, Project Accelerator and Teams
Good Afternoon all, First time poster and great to be here. I am the head of Programmes and Projects for a SME and I have implemented Project for the Web and the Project Accelerator to great effect across my organisation. A client has asked us to implement for them however, due to the complexity of their organisation they have multiple, separate "organisations" under a single tenant (not for discussion here ). Due to this segregation, We have had to install a dedicated instance of Project for the Web and the Accelerator in a dedicated Power App environment (Not Default). The issue we now have is that we cannot integrate Project for the Web with Teams Channels and by extension, implement tasks directly to Engineering Team Planners. While the accelerator continues to provide great project and reporting solution, the lack of integration with Teams seriously reduces its effectiveness as a collaboration tool. Research to date indicates that only Project for the Web installed in the default instance (not best practice) will integrate with Microsoft teams. I post this out of hope than expectation however, can anybody out there in the community advise whether they have successfully resolved this challenge? I look forward to your responses.How to activate Assigned to me in Project for the Web (Preview)?
I see that the Assigned to Me feature for Project for the Web is still in Preview with an expected general availability in August. We are trying to activate the feature in Preview, but we can’t find it. Which admin center or portal should we be checking?
