Hi all, i have a situation where users are being migrated, so E3 some F3 but wanted to know what happens when user who is using Office 2016 Retail signs in to their Office with Microsoft 365 account that doesn't have Microsoft apps enabled or available. Does Office Retail continue to work as normal, is anything blocked or restricted? Anything to be mindful of? We are using SharePoint Server 2019 along with Office Online Server (On-premise). Multiple users work on the same worksheet simultaneously. However, when one user applies a filter on sheet1, it affects all the users instead of being user- specific. Is there any workaround to make the filter apply only for individual users? Can we detach Viva Connections from teams ?
Hello Everyone , Is there a way that we can create Viva Connections as a separate application (Detached from MS Teams) ? It would be helpful because we need it to be a standalone not to be linked in MS teams. Also Please enlighten me if we can create a Sharepoint Site as a windows/mac desktop application. It would be great to know thanks.MS365 Apps for enterprise Last Activated Date
Hi, for my company I'm prototyping an C# or Powershell Application to remove unused licences which may have been overlooked by the offboarding process for an employeer. We are using AD-Groups to assign a license, if AD-User gets included in the AD-Group, an Office 365 E3 (Service "Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise") licence will be assigned to the user via "Set-MgUserLicense". With Graph-Api I successfully receive the "GetOffice365ActivationsUserDetail"-Report which has the property "Last Activated Date". I've some problems to understand how Last Activated Date works an when it gets set. I looked for licences which are assigned for my user, the last activated date is 2024-01-04, I've used Word multiple times since this date, also yesterday and days before but still receive 2024-01-04 over the graph-api. Or I understand "Last Activated Date" wrong and it gets set when I really "activate" i.E. Word, means when I'm doing a login in MS Word with my account (attached image)? I don't remember that I had to do a login within Word on 04-01 so it gets activated, the assigning of the license (my user added to AD-Group) was in Sep'23. Mysubsequently question would also be if LastActivatedDate gets set too when one is using Outlook over the web which is included in "365 Apps" for the case if a user is not using/didn't started word application? Thank you. Kind Regards455Views0likes0CommentsError Message - New Subscriber

I just started using the Cloud Policy service capability in the config.office.com portal. A Powershell module is sorely needed, in part because the UI a) can be slow and b) is uninformative in that the Policy Configuration Review/Summary is too high level and there is no comprehensive reporting of configured configurations and/or policies. Cmdlets that could extract the configurations and for each configuration, it scope, the policies that are configured and their configuration setting; list of all policies and policy configuration where they are configured would be very useful. Even better would be a cmdlet that can assess the policies applicable to a specific user and the 'route' the Cloud Policy Service took to determine them would be very useful in identifying why a particular behavior took place or didn't. This differentiate between device and web apps, where appropriate.667Views0likes0CommentsShare 3rd party app via link for Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams
Hello everyone, we have developed an app that is available inside Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365. For Microsoft Teams, we can easily share a link so new users will directly land on app installation dialog inside Microsoft Teams. Those links look likes this: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/<app-id>?source=app-details-dialog Is there a way to achieve the same for Microsoft 365 and new Outlook?
