How do I get information about a new release of MSTeams (Windows client). Think of information such as: - Fixed bugs - New features - Enhancements For example, MSTeams client version 49/24110115722 has just been released/rolled out in my organization. I'd like to know what is new in this version, to get more insight especially in the new / enhanced features to use.Microsoft Tech Community messaging broken
Long, long time user, first time poster in this discussion... I used to be able to receive and send direct messages. I currently have 8 unread messages. *Eight.* But, when I go to read them, the page has no content, and it just spins and spins, and nothing comes up. Now, it's been barely working for a while- but why *have* the feature if it is clearly abandoned? Is messaging ever going to work again? How do I download the messages I have gotten that have info in them I can use?55Views0likes3CommentsRemaining issues with new techcommunity.microsoft.com experience
Hi all, Much appreciate the new experience and improvements like tagging, mentioning bugs fixed, much better notifications. Will keep it brief: loading personal message takes very long time or eventually load eternally Click on threads in notifications will no longer load the actual item (reply, mention) Can no longer see posting stats in my user rofile (important for MVP contributions)172Views3likes13CommentsStuff missing in new format
The old forum format had a couple of features that no longer appear, at least I can't find them. First, the post/reply date is only a date, the post/reply time is missing. Can we get it back? Second, there was an indicator showing when someone was active on the forum (little green dot). That was very helpful in evaluating whether the discussion is live and therefore dynamic (e.g. quick exchange). Can we get the indicator back? October 1st 2024 minimum 5 characters username techcommunity
My username is ElB and if I understand correctly, a username must be at least 5 characters from October 1st. If not, I thought I read that the history of your account would disappear. Yesterday (October 27th) I happened to get this information by clicking on this link in an email https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/task-management-tips-for-planner-beginners/bc-p/4255599#M2525 I don't see this information about this restriction anywhere anymore and I can't reproduce it anymore. I find it strange that this important information with its great impact can now not be found anywhere easily and quickly. Even in my profile I don't get a notification and information! Who knows more about a required 5-character username starting October 1, 2024? Please provide a source!Solved380Views1like2Comments
