Teams iphone App Notifications with two accounts
I have two accounts connected to my iphone Teams app. One account shows notifications that are not there. I've toggled the clear app data. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've cleared chache on my desktop app for the account that is showing false notifications. I've turned notifications off in settings. It seems to have tiggered when I changed my password, but not sure if that is a coincidence. Any suggestions?
Notification badge disappearing after a few seconds of receiving new message
I receive a message, the notification bade shows "1" and the banner is displayed with the preview of the message, then a few moments later the badge disappears... This is causing a lot of issues for me and my colleagues, since we are forgetting that we have received messages, some new messages stay ignored for hours before we accidentally enter Teams and realize there are unanswered messages. This is a serious problem, is it happening for other organizations and teams?
Is there any way at all to show a badge for unread messages on the taskbar icon?
One of the most infuriating things about Teams is that when I receive a chat message but don't see it, there is no way to know about it unless I open the Teams window. I have the "Missed activity emails" setting at 10 minutes, but it only works maybe a quarter of the time. Is there a setting that would put a badge on the taskbar icon, like a smartphone would have? If not, why is that not a thing? How could Microsoft fail so hard at this?
