M-Files to Sharepoint Online file migration
Does anybody have any insights how to to migrate files from M-Files file management system to SharePoint? Especially any 3rd party tools that could automate the file transferring in the same way as Sharegate or such. I have tried to search information from multiple migration software vendors but with no luck.
How to migrate Mediawiki page to SharePoint Page
We need to crawl the MediaWiki page to Viva Topics. As there is no connector, we are trying to create Modern SharePoint pages based on the Mediawiki pages. Eventually Viva Topics AI can crawl this SharePoint pages provide the Hastags/Topics in Viva Topics.Is SharePoint migration API being replaced with SPMT?
I noticed the 'deprecated' message at top of this cmdletInvoke-SPOMigrationEncryptUploadSubmitwith a link directing to SPMT PowerShell cmdlets. This makes me wonder if Microsoft is replacing the migration APIs with SPMT migration engine. Could it be correct? Would this mean the migration tools will be using SMPT engine under the hood for migrations than the migration APIs? E.g., I believe Sharegate use the migration API for insane mode.SPMT and Migration Manager support for migrating from one SharePoint Online site to another
Does SPMT or Migration Manager supports migrating content from one SharePoint Online site to another site within the same SharePoint Online tenant? As per my understanding, both tools do not support migration from SharePoint Online but wanted to confirm.
Shared Files migration to SharePoint Online
Is SharePoint Online an ideal platform to migrate 75+ terabytes of files (office documents, video, audio) from Shared file folders? Or OneDrive could be considered as an alternative? Or better to go with Azure? If SharePoint is a yes for 75+ TB migration, then can it achieved using SPMT or Migration Manager?M365 tenant to tenant migration and inbound external sharing links
Will the inbound external sharing links break during a M365 tenant to tenant migration including the domain. Domain migration means, user sign-in and email remains the same at target tenant. Does it mean any sharing links the users have received from external parties will continue to work given the email/username is same? I have a feeling that these will break as tenant name and object GUIDs will change.Possible to migrate SP2013 Site Content Type to SharePoint Online's Content Services/Content Type?
We have a SharePoint 2013 Site Collection with approximately 200 subsites that allow inherit several content types from the parent. Since we're flattening the hierarchy during the migration to SharePoint Online, we'd like to move the content types to live in the central 'content services' content type area. Does anyone know if this possible to do during a migration or will we need to rebuild those content types and then map the subsites to the new location? Thank you in advance for any guidance.
