Microsoft Teams E911
2 Topics3rd party software to support remote workers dialing 911
I have a customer wanting to use a 3rd party to support their remote workers dialing 911 and having their address automatically found using Teams. Dynamic E911 routing is working as expected for their business locations, with a Ribbon SWe Lite in Azure configured to pass along ELIN. I have heard of RedSky, but not a great experience. Has anyone worked with any other companies to support remote Teams users for 911?1.2KViews0likes1Comment911 Emergency address and iphone Teams app
Testing 911 with Teams app (via 933) using Teams and Operator connect. I have user emergecny calling policy enabled to use external location lookup. On the iPhone (15), I also have location services for Teams enabled and precise location "on". When I open the Teams app, the map correctly shows the location; I allow it to be used. I dial 933 and the address it determined is indeed correct, but it says "low confidence" and would have gone to screening center. I've tried a few different things and from a few locations with same result - the address/location is identified correctly, but 933 test call still says it was low confidence. I can't figure out why or how to get it to be recognized as a "valid" address to not go to screening center.1KViews0likes2Comments
