Hi I'm using project server subscription edition. I'm done all configurations needed for building OLAP cubes and the cube builded successfully. Then I connect to OLAP using Microsoft Power BI to make projects dashboard. All data fields such as resources list and custom fields shown properly, But Projects list doesn't show my projects. It's show only two rows: administrative times and the unknown phrase. The point that I should mention is that the names of the projects are defined with Persian characters. Does anyone have an idea why this problem occurred? Thanks for the reply!File Upload Link Sharing with External Organizations Using Ms forum

We have been developing a banner app for SharePoint but encountered an issue where we are unable to access images or attachments from the list created using the Web API. The endpoint we used is: https://oursharepoint.com/sites/Test/_api/web/lists/getbytitle('Banner')/items While we can successfully access other list columns, we are unable to retrieve attachments or images through this method. Interestingly, we were able to access them on our test SharePoint site. What happened to Microsoft Support?
The level of support for M365 that we are receiving from "Microsoft branded" support teams keep getting worse and worse (we didn't think that it was possible, but here we are). The classic "we tried calling you but couldn't reach you" is back. You open a support case, sit in front of the phone waiting for the call just to receive an email stating that "we tried but you couldn't be reached". When you reply that you are sitting in front of the phone and you didn't miss any calls, the support engineer will call you back and successfully "reach you". Not replying to emails (including those sent to "Team Managers"), sending email with 2 mins before the end of the engineer's shift so there is only 1 email per day or closing cases with issues still being open is now the norm with MS Support. Support cases that drag on for weeks with no resolution, "can you please change this setting and try again", "we are still reviewing the logs" or my favourite "it's been 2 weeks, is the issue still occurring?" emails are extremely frustrating. The difference in support a company receives is very obvious between a multi-million-dollar support agreement and partner/SMB support. I understand that MS may not want to spend time, money and effort on companies that don't buy support agreements outside of those that come with the product, but if you already offer support then at least make it somewhat useful. The most frustrating part is being stuck with this level of support and having no other options. Most escalation emails to cc'd managers result in "do the needful" emails back to the engineer or go unanswered. The only way to combat this issue is to open multiple identical support cases in hopes that 1 out of the 3 engineers will be able to help you.42Views0likes2CommentsHow to open Office file in react web App?

I'm having an issue with Office 365 for Enterprise in which any time I modify a cell in Excel, one of my VBA macros is called, and calls out an error because the worksheet I'm working with doesn't contain the dataset the particular macro requires to do its thing. It's really frustrating. I type data into a cell, doesn't matter if it's numbers or a word, and immediately when I press Enter or an arrow key to move to another cell, the VBA editor pops up, says "Compile error: Can't find project or library" I click OK and it prompts me to enter the password for this macro, which I don't have. I have tried hitting the stop (Reset) button, but still, when I go put data into the next cell, it happens again, literally every time I put data into a cell. I've also tried doing a 'quick repair' of Office, which had no effect. Any thoughts on how to stop this ridiculous behavior?30Views0likes1CommentUnable to Create a Custom Tab in Excel Web Add-in Using <CustomTab> Element
Hello, I am developing an Office Web Add-in for Excel and encountering difficulties with creating a custom tab in the ribbon using the <CustomTab> element in the manifest. The tab appears as expected when using the built-in Office tabs (like TabHome, TabInsert, or TabAddIns), but does not show up when attempting to create a custom tab. Issue Details Manifest Setup: I’ve followed the Microsoft documentation and used the <CustomTab> element within the <PrimaryCommandSurface> to define a new custom tab. When I use an OfficeTab element instead of CustomTab, assigning it to TabAddIns, TabHome, etc., the add-in loads without any issues, and the button appears as expected. However, switching to <CustomTab> with a unique ID like MyCustomTab causes the tab to disappear from the ribbon in Excel Web (works fine in Excel Desktop). Troubleshooting Steps Taken Validation: Checked the manifest file for errors. All schema validation passes except when switching to CustomTab, where the tab does not appear. Cache Clearing: Cleared Office cache and reloaded Excel Web, but the issue persists. Documentation & Community: Referenced Microsoft’s documentation, forums, and the Script Lab example. Script Lab and tutorials do not address this specific issue with Web Add-ins. Other Attempts: I tried different ID values, double-checked resource strings, and verified that all file paths and URLs are accessible. The issue only occurs with a CustomTab in the Excel Web environment. Additional Observations The <CustomTab> element documentation suggests that it should be supported across all platforms, but my experience is inconsistent in the Web environment. Older videos and tutorials imply that <CustomTab> should work, yet these examples appear limited to desktop environments. Request Could someone confirm if there are known limitations with <CustomTab> in Excel Web Add-ins? Additionally, if there is any workaround or specific manifest structure needed to enable this functionality on Excel Web, I would appreciate any guidance. Additional Context: I am developing in JavaScript with a setup targeting both desktop and web environments. If necessary, I can provide additional manifest details or screenshots. Thank you for your assistance!12Views0likes1CommentError “Something Went Wrong [1001]” signing in to Microsoft 365 Desktop Applications on Citrix
Hello everybody, hello microsoft team is there a solution on the way concerning the well known problem see above? With the Office patches from October 2023 it startet with some users seeing error 1001 Thanks ChrisSSO issues in Word and Excel, but not Outlook
Hi, Strange issue started a month ago at a customer site. They use RDS with Office 365 installed. Historically this has been working fine, then it randomly stopped signing in properly for all users. We can't point it down to anything specific however. Network / User / Settings all look good. What is strange is on first login to Outlook, it says it's done SSO but says unlicensed. A simple restart then would show it licensed. We have managed to work round that issue by saving the license folder \appdata\local\microsoft\office\ to the UPD. So for this, a month ago, new and existing users would just sign in and it worked. Then something changed and users were being asked to sign in every time. So we have made this change to include \appdata\local to the UPD - now users only see this problem once (a month). While not as good as it was a month ago, it is acceptable. However, and this is what I need help with. SSO is NOT working at all from Word / Excel. Open Word Blank Micrsoft Sign In box pops up. You have to type username and hit enter You then have to type your password and hit Sign In That popup then goes away, but at the tope right of Word, it still shows "Sign In". When you go to Account, it still has a Sign in box. BUT... if you now close and reopen word, both of those show the signed in user. The problem here is that this doesn't persist over the UPD, so happens every time the users open Word or Excel. As this is used by a business app to open docs, it's actually breaking the process and we need to fix this. I have been having a look at SSO info, because it feels like something fairly low level has changed with how this works, but can't find anything helpful, hence posting here after about a month of searching and trying things. It's not very helpful when you have MS links like: How to use Remote Connectivity Analyzer to troubleshoot single sign-on issues for Microsoft 365, Azure, or Intune https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/troubleshoot/active-directory/single-sign-on-issues How to run Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test SSO authentication To run Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test SSO authentication, follow these steps: Open a web browser, and then browse tohttps://www.testconnectivity.microsoft.com/tests/SingleSignOn/input. However, that page just hangs with LOADING written on it. Then on the change notes for this page we see that it was removed in 2022! Version 4.0.15 (October 2022) Removed the Single Sign-on Test now that basic authentication in Exchange Online is being disabled. Quick note on the setup. AD is synced to Entra using Entra Connect (Password Hash Sync + SSO enabled), latest version. SSO URLs are added to Internet trusted sites as per setup instructions. Network has been tested and all URLS accessible and working for the user. User is on RDS on fully updated Server 2016 and is on the latest Office 365 app updates. So I guess my first question is: 1) Does SSO still work for Word and Excel? Is it a realistic expectation that the user will sign in to the PC and then Word and Excel will automatically sign in for the user (proper seamless single sign on) like it was doing only a month or so ago? 2) What can I do to test and troubleshoot this if it should be working? I have been trying for a month, so I have already tried a lot of things. But maybe I am missing some tests? Any info to help get this working again (or that it's no longer possible and we missed that instruction from MS) would be ideal. Thanks in advance4.1KViews0likes18Comments
