Hyperlinks in Bing-Maps or 3D-Maps
Hello all, I just stumbled upon the maps Features in Excel 2016. I would like to know if it is possible to integrate Hyperlinks into the Maps? I have found no way to do this, but it would be really neat to (for example) click on a Country or data Point and open the corresponding spread-sheet or another file... At the Office we do not have a Office365 subscription. Is a workflow described above possible with the map-diagram function in Office365?? Thanks in advance, Flo
Maps Data for Scotland
Hi, Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I'm trying to create a map chart for Scottish Local Authorties (Council regions) and I have all of their official names but the Maps chart isn't having it. Is there a list somewhere for how I should be naming these or am I missing anything else? I've attached a picture of my data. Thanks, Chris
Can I map data onto a digital map of an area?
Hi All I am looking for some advice, I am doing a project at work where we use customer postcodes and map their locations. So far I have managed to make a core datasheet listing all postcodes in the area and then further town tabs with small tables which count the data per postcode. I have added images of the town maps with hand-drawn boundaries to let us see where the biggest concentrations of customers are coming from. I am just learning Excel and it's capabilities and admit this spreadsheet more complicated formulas (H Lookup) are based on someone else's spreadsheet. Is it possible to use the data to add a 'dot' on the image? Currently using Office 2010 but will shortly be moving onto Office 2016.
Force show labels on maps + only show European part of Russia
I am using the map function to make an interactive showing the prices etc. of some goods in Europe and have a problem with that it chooses not to show the labels of some of the smaller countries plus some of the labels doesn't show fully. Is thereany way to force show the labels of all countries? Furthermore I wonder if it is possible to only show the European part of Russia in this map function or if you have to show the whole of the country? The same goes for the islands by the arrows belonging to Spain/Portugal (see attachment), is there a way to remove these? This question is not as vital as the first one so if you only know the answer of the first one please respond to only that one. Thank you in advance! Mikael
Excel "Maps" chart is no longer visible
The Maps chart is no longer visible within the charts tab, I am running Excel 2016 on an Office 365 ProPlus subscription (Version 1808 (Build 10730.20344)) -Has this feature been removed? Within the customize ribbon settings I can see the "Maps" chart available, however this isn't available when selecting a chart. Appreciate any advice on this!
