Changing urban landscapes can bring challenges for cities. It is forecasted that by 2050 more than 6 billion people, about 70 percent of the population, will live in urban areas. Microsoft CityNext is empowering cities to digitally transform and unlock their potential by delivering innovative digital services that can help them lead safer and healthier lives, enriched by high-quality education.Planner Notification for Task Assignment
I was wondering why in the GCC Planner app the option to receive a notification (email, Teams, mobile push) when "someone assigns a task to me" is not available? And when might we expect to see that feature arrive? It would be really nice to have this capability as I'm managing many projects in Planner, but I have to manually notify people when I assign them a task. Thanks.Admin submissions portal in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 GCC
I'm having a hard time understanding why Microsoft doesn't rescan emails submitted through the Admin Submissions page in the Microsoft 365 Security portal. I also don't understand why URL and File submissions are disabled for Administrators. Why should a tenant admin need to open a support ticket to submit a phishing/malicious email in order for Microsoft to actually review it? How does this protect tenants from phishing emails that specifically target US/State/Local employees? Accounts assigned Security/Organization/Global admin roles should be able to submit emails, urls, and files to Microsoft directly through the Admin submissions page. Microsoft should acknowledge when a privileged account is submitting a missed malware/phishing/spam email, rescan the submission and use the submission to improve threat intelligence filters.Welcome to the Public Sector community!

If you are in the Government tenant, you probably feel the pain that many of us have expressed here about the delays in getting O365 products released to our tenant, and moreover the lack of transparency in when they are going to be released. We understand the releases are delayed while obtaining the necessary compliance that is part of the Government tenants, but asadministrators (and users!), we need more information to be able to properly plan and advise our users. The current Roadmap has spotty information in this space, at best, and it is not easy to find. Often it is buried in a description page, without any information on when we will get the release. There is a User Voice item posted requesting a Government tenant Roadmap with dates for product releases to the Gov tenants: https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/33313249-release-dates-for-government-tenancy Please consider adding your voice to help this item get traction! -kathySolvedTask Management for GCC
I have been unable to find any documentation on when Microsoft To Do might arrive for the GCC. And I also saw the announcement for task management in Teams to arrive later this year. Is there any chance that GCC customers will receive tasks in Teams when it is released? If not, what is the time frame that we can expect to have that technology?Unavailable Features

I'll continue to update this post as new features are announced and not available to G tenants.Slow to receive new features
I think one of my biggest pain points with Office 365 is the slowness in which a Government tenant receives updates. For example, Sway was announced in October 2014 and Planner was announced in December 2015 and neither has shown up for my tenant. The other day my boss saw mention of Microsoft Teams in news media and was excited and wanted to know when we would have access. I had to tell him that it can be years before our tenant receives a feature, even though we are paying for it.Advanced Office 365 capabilities now available to U.S. Government Community Cloud customers
