Hi, I am not a tech savvy and really want to install Windows 11 on my unsupported PC. I downloaded the Windows 11 24H2 and start the in-place upgrade from Windows 10. After a couple of minutes, the installation wizard tells me Windows 11 can't be installed on this device. After that, I run the PC Health Check tool and found out the CPU is not supported, and the computer has no TPM 2.0 chip. Is there any way to install windows 11 24H2 on unsupported hardware? I tried a few online tricks but no longer working in my case. P.S. I will buy a new Windows 11 compatible device if I have the money next year!1.6KViews0likes7CommentsUpgrade to 24H2 de-activated Windows
I upgraded to 24H2 earlier this week. It took a while but finally everything looked OK. I was previously on 23H2 (and wish I'd stayed on that version). I'm now getting prompted to activate Windows. I have a pro key which I purchased when I built this PC in January 2024. I've never had problems with this key. So I tried Troubleshoot but no solution. I then went to Change Key, and entered my existing key. It wouldn't accept the key, with the error message Key already used. Of course it has been used - to activate this very PC. I haven't changed any hardware in the 11 months since I built it. Anyone have any ideas? Microsoft tech support is not answering their phone this week apparently.160Views1like2CommentsHow to Replace an Unauthorized Windows 11 Product Key with a Genuine Key?
I initially installed Windows 11 from an unauthorized source, which activated with an OEM key. However, this installation caused severe performance issues, including lagging in various areas such as: The taskbar (e.g., dropdowns in Wi-Fi settings). File Explorer (slow response). Any installed software. Overall sluggishness after starting up. To resolve this, I downloaded the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft's website and performed a clean installation using a bootable USB and a different Microsoft account, I done this 3 times. Despite this, the unauthorized product key still shows as active in the system. I’ve already tried deactivating the key using Command Prompt (slmgr /upk), but it didn’t work. Here are my questions: If I enter my purchased genuine product key, will it overwrite the unauthorized key and make my installation fully official? How can I ensure all unauthorized activators or remnants from the previous installation are completely removed?31Views0likes1CommentHow can I find Windows 11 product key on my PC?
I recently encountered a problem and would like to ask everyone for help. I am currently using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11. Recently, I need to reinstall the system for some reasons, but when I was asked to enter the product key, I was confused - I had no idea where my Windows 11 product key was! I tried to find Windows 11 product key in the settings, but I only saw a sentence "Windows is activated" without a specific key. I also searched for some methods online, such as using the command prompt wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey, but no key was displayed after running it. My computer is pre-installed with the system, so there is no email or paper key card. Does anyone know any other way to find Windows 11 product key on the computer? Or are there any other reliable solutions to retrieve the key? Please give me some advice, thank you!370Views1like7CommentsWindows 11 Pro for Workstation. Broken features, lack of support.
There are two reasons I wanted to deploy workstation edition for a new system I'm working on. ReFS and RDMA. I'm unable to use ReFS and in my research and troubleshooting I've found out there is very little support, documentation and knowledgeable people in Microsoft that can help. Workstation edition was properly installed from the start. I've tested the ISO available at the download windows 11 site and the visual studio Business Edition ISO. I've tested both 23H2 and 24H2. ReFS is not available as a filesystem option in explorer's context menu, storage spaces or disk manager. Creating a storage space volume in PowerShell and setting returns an error that the filesystem is not supported. I suspect there might be a problem with my work account and the Windows Business Digital license it applies. I brought the issue up with MS365 support, but they didn't want to take it and pushed me off to the team for activation support. They weren't helpful, they didn't know much about workstation edition. I can see both the key and digital subscription are both active. There's absolutely no documentation regarding any of the features workstation edition enables. Even when starting support tickets or reviewing windows documentation there is no mention of workstation edition. There is an option for enterprise edition. I'm at a loss of how Microsoft supports this edition of windows and where to get any help.24Views0likes0CommentsHow to Replace an Unauthorized Windows 11 Product Key with a Genuine Key?

Recently, I installed Windows 10 Education on my PC, which has good specs but is a little older and has had it's fair share of problems, and it seems to run slower than when I had Windows 10 Home. I want to install Windows 11 Education on my laptop (4080 mobile, i9-13900H, 64gb RAM) and it already has some minor performance issues at times and I don't want it to get worse because my work can be fast paced sometimes.15Views0likes0CommentsPermanently disable Asus service on Windows
