Google Play Store
3 TopicsDifferent Versions Remote Desktop Client - Google Play Store
Hi, We setup 2 ZEBRA TC26 Android devices with SOTI Mobile Device Management. Both have the same OS and build version number. We noticed that the remote desktop app’s are not the same on these phones. On the first one we have version : 10.0.11.1140 which is a version higher then there is available on the microsoft page : https://docs.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/clients/remote-desktop-clients On this version, when we start a Workspace connection we could not click on ‘Never ask again for connections to this PC’ : The user receive always this message. On the other Zebra TC26 we noticed that they have the latest official version : 10.0.10.1129 In this version we could mark this setting as expected so no issues here. We have allready uninstalled the remote deskop app that has the higher version, but the higer version always comes back on that mobile. Is there any workaround, solution or is this a BUG ? Thanks in advance. Best regards,1.9KViews0likes0CommentsFully managed Android Devices can access to Play Store
Background: I have enrolled Zebra TC22 handhelds running Android 13 into Intune using the Corporate-owned, fully managed user devices profile. Issue: Initially, the Google Play Store displayed only the company approved apps on devices. However, a week later, I noticed that all devices could access the Google Play Store and install apps such as Instagram. The option "Allow access to all apps in Google Play" under device restriction is set to "Not Configured," yet devices still have access to all apps on the Play Store. I conducted an experiment by enrolling brand new devices. Initially, these devices could not access apps on the Play Store. After allowing access to the Play Store, I could install any apps I wanted. However, after reverting the "Allow access to all apps in Google Play" setting to "Not Configured," the policy did not take effect, and the devices could still install apps from the Play Store. Does anyone know how to block access to Google Play or prevent users from freely installing apps? Thanks.Solved1.1KViews1like3CommentsSingle private Android app no longer syncs between Managed Play Store and Intune
This is one single app that's published privately. It's been in the Play Store for years. Recently noticed it no longer shows in Intune at all. I published an update in the production release channel (the only active channel) to see if that would trigger anything, but it did not. No other apps have "vanished" that I can find--just this one app. Besides publishing an app update, I've resync'ed the Play Store a number of times. I've unpublished this app overnight, republished the next day and sync'ed again. Still nothing. So far I can't find ANY logs to see what's sync'ing between Play Store and Intune. Short of republishing this app under a new bundle ID, I'm out of troubleshooting ideas. Has anyone seen this behavior before?472Views0likes0Comments
