Microsoft Edge Kids! - Kids mode added to Edge - What an Amazing feature! (●'◡'●)
Microsoft Edge version 90.0.800.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) introducing Kids mode which can be accessed from the browser settings: edge://settings/family you can learn all about it here in this official page a brief description: Kids Mode is a convenient browsing mode inside Microsoft Edge that’s designed for kids. With its kid-friendly features and safety guardrails in place, Kids Mode is a great place for children to safely explore the web. Kids Mode includes features like custom browser themes, kid-friendly content, browsing based on an allow list, Bing SafeSearch set to strict, and a password requirement to exit. Also, Kids Mode doesn't require a child account or profile. Currently, Kids Mode is limited to US English on Windows and MacOS. Fullscreen Dropdown doesn't have a close and minimize button
The Enable Fullscreen Dropdown button is a very good feature but lacks certain improvements which needs to be published. Every time when I want to close the browser when it is already full screen, I first had to toggle fullscreen. Then I had to close the browser. Also there is no minimize button, both these features were there in edge classic. Kindly add these. Also when certain HTML elements such as video elements or frames are made fullscreen using the attribute fullscreen, the fullscreen dropdown doesn't appear instead traditional circled x appears. Such as when youtube videos are made full screen using fullscreen button on videos, the dropdown doesn't appear. Kindly make these minimize and close button available in fullscreen dropdown. These too was present in edge legacy. Lastly, the fullscreen dowpdown activation area in fullscreen mode and pdf toolbar activation area in fullscreen mode coincide, which makes it impossible to use pdf toolbar in fullscreen mode when using dropdown. This too was present in edge legacy.

I'd like to give a suggestion too: please, set the nav bar as transparent, using the Edge-to-edge concept from Android 10, like you guys already does on iOS (here: codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/gesture-navigation#3 , here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf-fP2u9vjI, and here developer.android.com/training/gestures/gesturenav?hl=pt-br ) Look how this bar is ugly, makes the screen smaller and pollutes the screen as well... Look how it's very better, like the Edge works on iOS and how it should be on Android as well. The little home bar change its color depending from the background. This division of the interface is also ugly. Another suggestion that I'd like to see in the future is the "force dark mode" in sites that don't have support to the changing color API. Various browsers already have it. And, congratulations! The new Edge for Android is incredible 😄 you've gone a good job.I just want to tell you that i suggested other 50-100 improvements to Edge Devs in the last time
I don't share such things here, because there are a lot of personal information that i don't want to share with the public, maybe soon i will make a summary of the most important points, if you wish that. Or just wait, until Edge implement it. Then you will see it xD Example of topics: bookmarks, search bar, toolbar, settings, edge in small size, using edge with low resolution display setting, smart search, other smart buttons (i already talked about some previously), better tab management, better domain based features, etc. I submitted different problems that i discovered too. PROBLEM (PP): 3 Classification: EXTENSIONS PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 6 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) 1) Today i talk about a problem that i already reported to Google **1137157&hotlist_id=10394 and i see frequently in Edge too. I search i search and i search extension in the toolbar or extension box and i never find it. Since i have over 250 profiles, sometimes is difficult to remember if i installed it or not. So i try to reinstall the extension, and then i get such message. So Edge deactivated my extension. Like i asked to Google, i wish you could add a new panel for deactivated extensions and a way to reactivate at once all extensions. 2) Similar problem is ***1134182&hotlist_id=10394 about deactivated extension after sync activation which i have never seen until now in Edge (hope i will never see too). In case this happens in Edge too, add ability to approve all extensions at once, instead of showing me 20+ notifications for each edge profile. If you implement the deactivate panel like 1) we would fix this problem too. 3) since we are talking about extensions, i report you *1144126&hotlist_id=10394 another problem i noted recently in chrome, in the hope that edge dev can fix it, if this problem is available in edge too. i noted this problem even with 360chrome. 8+ minutes where you simply showed me 200 notifications about extensions crash. Please check that you avoid to show me 1000 messages if there is a total crash. At least in google was automatically, in 360chrome i needed to approve each crash one by one; after 20 i relaunched the browser (much faster). 4) about google chrome removed extension topic ***1143025&hotlist_id=10394 i haven't tested this in edge until now (or i have never seen such message), but would be cool that edge is able to sync deleted extensions (marked as malware by google) from chrome store (extensions, that are not available in edge store). Or to sync manual added extensions. we all know that google delete extensions in batch, would be cool that we can still use such extensions, that worked fine for months. Maybe you are already able to do that, or maybe not. I will test this in future. There are other problem with chrome, but not related to the topic extensions, so i prefer to report such problems only once i see in edge too.
