6 TopicsTimeout on downloading folder
Hi there, Wondering if anyone here might have an insight on this, we have a client who has shared with us (via a SharePoint URL) a large OneDrive folder full of images that they would like us to download periodically. Using the 'Download' button/link in the top right to download the entire folder times out before it is completed. We are not sure of the completed file size as it keeps timing out, so far the largest size we've gotten before timeout is 19gb. We know that it is timing out as the zip file we get is always corrupted and will not extract. The file download doesn't appear to support resuming which would potentially solve this. Since it's another company's data I'd rather not share the URL here even though I realise that would be helpful for debugging. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!10KViews0likes2CommentsBulk OneDrive file download
Hi there, I’ve had about 1TB worth of files shared with me. Each file is ~640MB. I have been granted full access to the OneDrive folder but it does not appear in my shared with me folder, and because of one drives 20GB download limit I am having to manually select between 30-40 files at a time to download. Is there a fast way to download all files or sync or move these to my own OneDrive folder? In the move option all I can see are folders within the original external OneDrive folder. As this folder doesn’t appear in my own shared with you folder, I cannot sync it to my desktop. Id appreciate any help here as this has become very tedious and time consuming. We understand that we can set the maximum percentage of upload bandwidth that OneDrive.exe uses via Group Policy, however we need in some circumstances to set the maximmum percentage of download bandwidth used as well. The below article does not include any options for limiting maximum percentage of download bandwidth, and just need to know if there's a way for this to be done. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Use-Group-Policy-to-control-OneDrive-sync-client-settings-0ecb2cf5-8882-42b3-a6e9-be6bda30899c?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US6.6KViews0likes1CommentSS1: OneDrive integration with Edge

I have a source file that is (I believe erroneously) marked as virus-infected. OneDrive does not allow me to download it. I have even renamed it to a .txt extension, but it still refuses any download. If I try the "open in text editor" option it gives me the following error: To protect your pc and other files we've removed open share and other commands. Contact your admin for options or https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-to-do-when-a-malicious-file-is-found-in-sharepoint-online-onedrive-or-microsoft-teams-01e902ad-a903-4e0f-b093-1e1ac0c37ad2?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us The learn more link is really not that helpful. As a personal OneDrive user I don't really have an admin to turn to. Google searching tells me the way to download the file is to use PowerShell Get-SPOMalwareFileContent. However, that command is only accessible to SharePoint admins. But I'm only a consumer personal OneDrive user. What I see is that the site seems to indicate that I should be able to download the file regardless of all warnings, but none of the download options and buttons do anything. They don't give an error, clicking on download just does nothing at all. Can anyone help?1.1KViews0likes5Comments
