2 TopicsNew Feature: Video Comments for PDFs now available on Edge browser
Microsoft Edge version 90.0.817.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) you're going to need to enable this new flag first: edge://flags/#edge-video-comments-pdf You can add .webm format videos that are hosted online(like OneDrive, GDrive etc) to PDFs as comments. Edge will support inline playback of these videos. (Note: Users should have permission to access the video(URL) to be able to view it.) available on: Mac, Windows I added a 1080p mp4 file. you can move the video comment to anywhere on the screen, also can watch the video comment in full screen. Very nice feature in my opinion.1.5KViews1like0CommentsAdd an auto-detect option to the NTP language and locale settings
In the previous Edge insider canary update this feature was introduced https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/new-feature-change-language-and-locale-of-the-ntp-contents/m-p/1099107 but there are lots of languages missing from that list. so if someone accidentally or for testing purposes, chose a foreign language from the list, and that person's native language is one of those that are missing from the list, there is no way for them to go back. like this incident: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/new-feature-change-language-and-locale-of-the-ntp-contents/m-p/1101552/highlight/true#M21144 so my suggestion is to add all of the languages to the list, make it complete at the top of the language list, add an "auto detect" option so Edge can detect the language and locale based on the IP address.918Views0likes0Comments
