Microphone fades in and out in Skype for Business group meetings
Hi everyone, I bought a new MSI gaming laptop last month that I also use to work on via Citrix. To be able to use my microphone from my headset I installed Citrix HDX Media Engine (version 2.9.400). So far so good. When I call someone it works perfectly. But when I join a teammeeting, after sometime the other people can’t understand me or very badly. Mostly when I’m talking for a longer period of time. It’s like my microphone output volume just falls out. I’ve tried everything, updating Citrix, downgrading to older Skype versions. Even updating to Windows 11, but nothing works. Please note that on Discord, everything works perfectly. So my hardware isn’t the problem. I’m using Skype for Business in a Citrix Environment. I can call perfectly, without drops, with other people. But when I join teammeetings with multiple people, people often complain that they can hardly understand me. The headset is an usb-headset; plantronics blackwire 5220. On my old laptop everything worked fine. So I guess something new on the MSI laptop is messing with my microphone? So TL;DR: something is causing my microphone to fade out when talking in Skype for Business group meetings. And I’m on the edge of trowing my laptop through the window.
Skype user unable to share screen with Skype TX
Trying to run a web conference. I saw this issue posted from 2019 and it was not resolved. We have a Skype TX box and have guests coming in on Skype, Skype for business and Teams. Apart from the multiple issues we've had trying to get people to connect in, one that is unresolved is that one of our guests wants to share their screen. Teams wouldn't let her even video call to us. Skype will call but when she tries to share her screen or window, her Skype says it's working but our Skype TX seems locked onto her webcam. We found another workaround but are wondering if anyone else came across this and resolved it.

Bonjour à tous, Je suis actuellement en entreprise et nous organisons beaucoup de meetings et beaucoup de séminaires à partir d'invitation Skype, Voilà ma problématique quand nous parcourons les slides tout se passe très bien, mais quand nous voulons lire une vidéo qui est incorporée dans le PowerPoint aucun son ne fonctionne. Quand je clique sur l'icône du son rien ne se passe. C'est exactement la même chose quand je veux diffuser une vidéo. (l'appel se met en attente et j'ai ce message) Avez-vous une solution ou déjà rencontrer ce problème ? Cordialement, Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.
Can't see Shared Content on Skype for Business on Mac Client during meetings after 1st meeting
Hi, I have Skype for Business on Mac Client version 16.27.32. I can see shared content on the first Skype meeting I joined only. After that, I can no longer see shared content from any meetings. I have no idea why this happens. I've tried to exit the app and relaunch, but it doesn't help. I've tried to log-out and log back on, it doesn't work. The only way I can see the content again is by completely rebooting the Mac! Again, after the reboot, I will be able to see the shared content for 1 meeting only. Any idea what is going on here? Any ideas on how to fix? I'm on MacOS 10.14.5. System is 13" Macbook Pro. Many thanks in advance! GeorgeSkype for business - Screen share Recording file not opening and playing
Hi, I use Skype for business for screen share and Recording the same. Recently I closed the Screen sharing session, which I was recording, but forgot to stop the recording. The Recording file is not opening or playing either, the status is Pending still, please help how can I retrieve my Recording file?
Microsoft Teams & Skype for Business
Hey, so with work i have to use skype for business to join meetings and such but cant seem to download because, it keeps saying Microsoft Teams is the new alt for Skype for Business or something along those lines. So i downloaded Microsoft Teams and was wondering if i can join meeting on Skype for Business through Teams or if there is another alternative way i can download Skype for businessUnable to connect to meeting invitation
Hi I had a job interview booked via Skype for Business for last week but i was unable to connect to the meeting as a guest. I have tried 10 devices now and nothing seems to work. I have friends who tried with me and also unable to connect. I have used the web app and followed the guidance. I believe the issue is with the employer but dont know what they need to do from their side to make it work. We postponed the interview for tomorrow but i know i will not be able to connect. please help thank youSkype for business call keeps dropping out
Hi My team and I are using Skype for Business as guests. When we join a call after approximately 10seconds Skype stops working for us and we are removed from the call, as such we have to dial in using our phones but as a result cant see the shared screen. We have tried reinstalling Skype for business but this hasn't helped. We have used Skype for business for a while now and haven't experienced this issue before. Can you advice on how we fix this?
