We implemented SharePoint 2019 on prem and have sites with lists that contain item attachments. We have already changed Site Collection and list/library settings to open the files in client app. That works for document libraries but not for list item attachments. Any ideas? currently the file downloads and the user edits but has to delete/reupload the document to save it2.4KViews0likes2CommentsDebugger not working on Hosted workbench on spfx webpart
I have spent a number of months working on a custom SPFX WebPart using standard tools and React. As of Wednesday last week I have been unable to successfully use gulp serve with Chrome to hit any break points to investigate why our latest dev build is failing to fire a third party call. I am using SharePoint Framework 1.7.1 and chrome 64 bit v 74 I see no indicative errors or warnings in console that tell me anything of note but my colleague is getting an error stating 'Failed to load debug manifests' Can anyone suggest a solution1.7KViews0likes0CommentsChrome 69 - No Classic Experience?
Hello, I recently updated to Chrome 69 and it looks like since then Classic Experience is not available anymore (SharePoint Online). When I use Edge or IE it shows the Library in Classic but in Chrome it always shows it in Modern Experience. Has anyone else seen this? Anyone have a fix or workaround? I have a customer who really wants to use the datasheet view/Quick edit for updating multiple rows at a time. They keep Excel sheets from where they copy/paste changes into the custom list, using datasheet view. I have recommended them to reduce the number of rows in views and keeping the number of updates in each copy/paste low, but of course they would like to do as many as possible in one go. The list now containg upwards of 500 rows. Anyone have any great tips on how to make this as smooth as possible? Also tell if there are any specific configurations that impact speed specifically - like row count, columns in view, type of columns, etc. We see that Chrome works faster than IE when loading the datasheet view, but we also see that copying/pasting multiple rows from Excel does not work. I know datasheet view in Chrome was not supported earlier, but should it not be supported for SharePoint online? Thanks for any tips.1.8KViews0likes0Comments
