Excel 2016 - Cannot create a map, only 3D map tours
Hello, I would like to create a map in Excel. I have Excel 2016, and according to the tutorial video online, I should be able to create a map of the US that shows differenct values for different areas. The button should be under "Insert" and in the Charts section, but I'm not seeing the button. All I see is a button that says 3D map, which does not allow me to save a picture of the map. Any help would be appreciated. Klara
Conditional Formatting based on the date of another column
Hi, I'm trying to conditionally format cells in column A based on their related to cells of the same row in column J. Essentially if the date in column A is before the day in column J I want the cell to go green If the date in column A is after the date in column J I want the cell to go red Is this possible? I cannot find a way to do it.
How to color-code points in a scatterplot by a third, non-quantitative data category
I have three columns of data. Two columns contain numerical data, which I want to plot on the x- and y-axis of a scatterplot. That part's easy. It's the next part that trips me up. I have a third column which contains categorical data. I want to use the values in this column to color-code all the "points" on the scatterplot. For example, in the attached screenshot, I would like the points in categories "A", "B", and "C" to each be assigned a color. I've tried a million things, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Reversing the x-axis on a Combo chart (2 different y-axes) only flips the values for one of the two?
I will attach three images. The first is this combo chart, but as you can see, the months are in reverse chronological order. However, attempting to flip all data by selecting the "Categories in reverse order" button in the formatting of the x-axis only flips one of the two datasets, and not both: I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, here. Googling hasn't helped me. My dataset in question:
