Hey all, I want to include a link on a website which automatically redirects you to calling a certain person in MS Teams. Similar like the 'mailto:' syntax works. I cannot figure out though, how to do this in MS Teams. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!Solved126KViews1like23CommentsHow to redirect calls in Teams if you are "busy on the phone"
Hi everybody, is there a possibility to set up the call forwarding in the Call Center feature to a way, that "busy" is considered "busy on the phone"(an agent actually talking to somebody) and not the status "busy in the agents calendar" for an event. This means the Agent has an calendar entry with the status "busy" but is actually free for phone calls, It's just that Teams is considering the Outlook event as a "busy" block?! Can this be circumvented somehow, so that Teams considers "busy" only "user is actually busy on the phone"? When in a call or meeting, one of our users is unable to see anybody's video from their camera. It just shows a black screen. People in the call / meeting are able to see this user's video, as well as everybody else's. I've tried reinstalling teams on the device (A laptop) with no joy, I've also tried looking for driver updates but device manager says they're up to date. This issue started occuring about 2 weeks ago, it had always worked as normal before and I'm not aware of anything that could have triggered this. Any ideas on how to fix this?Solved20KViews0likes4CommentsTeams VOIP signalling protocol and TCP port numbers?
I understand MS teams is using HTTP/HTTPS TCP port 80/443 for call setup, So If I want to apply QoS how can I capture the specific HTTP/HTTPs traffics for MS-Teams? excluding all the other web browsing traffics. The requirement is only to prioritise MS-Teams voip signalling traffics. Thanks3KViews0likes2CommentsCall notifications
Since my company and my customer both have Teams, I use a setup, where one account is used in the natively installed app and the other is used within a browser. I have this same situation on our Windows 10 laptop (with Edge) and vice versa on the customer CentOS 7 Linux laptop (with Chrome). Now, the problem is, if a call comes in on the browser, I don't hear anything (since it only rings in the headset) and I don't get any desktop notifications about it, so I constantly miss calls. Additionally, since I have both laptops on a KVM switch, I do need visual and audible notifications. The notifications for the natively installed versions are fine, there something pops up when a call comes in, but also no ringing. What do I have to do to receive visual (e.g. popup) and audible (e.g. ringing through speaker) notifications of incoming calls for all cases?5.5KViews0likes6CommentsMS Teams Call Error
I noticed it today. When someone is trying to call me on MS Teams Desktop Ap, their name is displayed twice. It comes as a stack call. If I pick the call from the top stack, the call gets connected. However, if I pick the bottom call from the stack, the call gets disconnected. Please see attached screenshot.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsFeature request: close pop-out chat and/or meeting windows with Ctrl+W
Per the new meeting experience, meetings and calls open in pop-up windows. Double-clicking a chat recipient opens the chat in a pop-up window. We can close these by Alt+F4 of course, but honestly I'd rather stay on home row and press Ctrl+W instead, a classic "close this instance" shortcut that's already used in Microsoft Office applications to close individual documents without exiting the entire program. Please add Ctrl+W as a keyboard shortcut to close pop-up windows. Thank you for the consideration.3.6KViews0likes1CommentNot allowing access to call
A colleague in my nursery is trying to arrange virtual calls through teams with parents and other agencies. She set up the call through the calendar and invited others, who all accepted the invite. However, when she started the call using her ipad, no other guests were able to join the call. There were no options to "allow access" to guests and she then ended up on a call on her own. I have been using google meet so not too great at using teams and was wondering what we are missing? Our IT dept suggested using teams to allow NHS colleagues and those with emails out with our authority to access the calls. Any help would be great!!1.3KViews0likes1Comment
