Calendar View
5 TopicsAdding Recurring Events to a Microsoft List in Calendar View
Hello, I am currently trying to migrate some old calendars on classic SharePoint to a modern SharePoint site by making a new List on modern SharePoint and putting it into calendar view. I am having trouble making stat holidays recur so that the same stat holiday appears on the same days for the following years. I have heard some talk about using Power Automate to make this happen but have had no luck personally. I was wondering if there was a way to make recurring events in a List that could recur on a specific date on a timeline. For example, in the picture shown is an on call calendar on Classic SharePoint in which the events recur on a bi-weekly or weekly basis. Any information on how to make these events recur in a List on Modern SharePoint greatly appreciated. Thanks!54KViews3likes7CommentsCalender view click-and-drag time input in wrong date-time format
Just today the click-and-drag time input on the calendar view gives a wrong time-format (see printscreen): anybody idea's what recently has changed? When I do an 'add new' in the all-items view I don't get this problem, but this click-and-drag feature is necessary for client and ease of use... So it seems something specific to the calendar-view? Something to to with the form-entry that is moving more to the PowerApps-system?Solved733Views0likes2CommentsSharePoint Calendar Event Display Name
Good morning, Silly issue perhaps, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've built a SharePoint Calendar view and want only the Event Name to show up in the Calendar view when the detailed view is not open. Right now, the Start Time is the first thing you see when viewing. Can I prevent the time from displaying until you open the calendar item? Good afternoon, I have an odd issue I'm struggling with. I've implemented some JSON code that changes the color of a Sharepoint calendar view event based on the event type. Most people see the color coding, however some people see all event types as one color (red). At first I thought it had to do with the level of MS access each user had (the first to flag it was an outside consultant), but a few others also experience this issue and their access levels range from Associate through Director. Has anyone else experienced this issue and know how to fix it? Thank you.995Views0likes0CommentsViewing modern list as calendar
I have a modern SharePoint list. The list has various task-oriented fields, including Title, Start, and Due. I would like to be able to toggle a calendar view of the list. There was no built-in calendar view available under the view options, so I created one ("Create new view"). The new calendar view has column headings of Title, Start, and Due. The problem is that it has no content. If I toggle back to "all items," everything appears fine. If I toggle to the new "Calendar," it's empty except for the column heads. What did I do incorrectly? How do I do this? I'm assuming that modern lists can be viewed as a calendar...1.3KViews0likes1Comment
