Breakout Troubleshooting
Hi everyone - hoping you're well. I have issues when organising events where there are presenters (who have cameras enabled) and participants (cameras and mics disabled). Once presenters finish - we want them to join breakout rooms to have discussions. The issue is - the cameras do not turn on in the breakout rooms. I enable them from the options before sending people into breakouts - their mics turn on but no cameras. Has anyone found a solution to this please?
Breakout rooms slow to assign for large groups
I have had issues of breakout rooms being excessively slow in opening once when working with larger attendance numbers, or groups. I am use to working in Zoom which is instant, though feel I cannot trust the lag in Teams breakout rooms and actively discourage clients from using Teams breakouts for larger groups. Who else has experienced this, and any tips/ideas to improve or limit these delays?
Not able to Add Guest account to Teams Break Out Room
Not able to add a user to break out room , who has joined as guest.. it gives a message when we try to add to break out room -"this person is using a device or app that does not support breakout rooms" but the same person on the same device and app if disconnects from the meeting and join back using the Rejoin button then that error is gone and we can add them to breakout room, what could be the issue in the initial place where it does not allow us to assign the person to breakout room, where as re-joining to the same meeting from same machine same client without any change allows to add the guest to Breakout rooms ? Teams version on Add Remove Programs- 1.4.00.2781, all logged in via laptop, who where logged in via teams after authenticating did no see any issue though it was few
