SharePoint site built as Teams App opens all windows using browser instead of within Teams App
Hi, Need help. Problem: SharePoint Site (built as Teams app) opens all links outside Teams App using my default browser. This is the case for all links even those that are set up in SharePoint site to open in the same window. (Used this link to create the Teams App for the SharePoint site: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/add-sharepoint-site-as-a-app-to-the-teams/m-p/2864482) Am I missing any requisite steps? Can't Save or download Photo from Teams to iPhone Photos
If I open the share options in Teams for a jpg photo, it does not show an option to "Save" the photo. I need to save it to my iOS Photos, but cannot. Any help greatly appreciated! I am on an iPhone 11 Pro Max, running the latest iOS 13 software and the most up to date Teams app.
Document Library tab: Cannot upload or drag&drop files (Bug)
Hi, I have been running in circles with support and I am not getting anywhere, i need to raise my concern about a bug in MS Teams which causes your uploaded sharepoint files to be corrupt, and lose all contents. I have reproduced this in 3 different tenants now, for multiple users and multiple computers, it absolutely is a bug. The bug exists int he "document library" tab within a team and the repro steps are simple: create a new or use an existing team. add the "document library" app for any sharepoint library in the teams client (web or desktop) drag&drop a file into this library. teams gives an error: failed to upload file, "Please check if the site is available....." the site is available, of course, you can still upload files into sharepoint directly. the file which failed to upload be seen in sharepoint but IS CORRUPT AND CANNOT BE OPENED I raised this with support but as usual it is not going anywhere. they want to have a 3 hour call collecting HAR files and fiddler logs etc, and want to spend the next few weeks asking me about my laptop- no thanks. Hi Everyone, Trying to roll the "Who" app out to my organisation. I'm getting half the users when the select "Allow" to give it permissions getting the below error message: Who I'll need your permission to perform searches on your behalf. Go ahead and click Allow This action can't be performed since the app does not exist or has been uninstalled. I have had user reinstall Teams. Check the teams admin console and I can't assign global permissions for the app there. This is on the Teams Desktop App, Windows 10 and 11. And not all users. Hello, We are using the Shift App through MS Teams App for Android and it´s not working since we updated it to the 1416/1.0.0.2021114201/0809. Its not allowing us to save any change, only read. Hi folks, I am having an issue with the configuration tab in MS teams' team's tab, I have enabled the canUpdateConfiguration key in my MS teams manifest from this I am able to update or modify the content of my tab in the team's tab. but after modifying the content, the name provided in the suggestedDisplayName key in teams is not getting updated. code example that I am using for adding/ updating the tab. microsoftTeams.settings.registerOnSaveHandler(saveEvent => { microsoftTeams.settings.setSettings({ entityId: 'A unique id', 'contentUrl: 'A url for my tab'', suggestedDisplayName: 'Updated name', }); saveEvent.notifySuccess(); }); This issue only occurs on modifying the tab, on adding the tab it works fine for me. I'm using a SharePoint Modern communications site as a personal app in my tenant. Last week, links pointing to external sites started opening twice when from the desktop (windows) app. Mobile or Web is not affected. What can I do to prevent the link from being opened twice?
Teams iOS app notification issues
Hello all! I use the Teams iOS app on my phone for work, and have set quiet days/hours for when I don't want to see notifications. However, I still receive notifications during those hours/days. I've tried toggling the setting on and off, deleting/reinstalling the app, and resetting my phone, but no dice. Any ideas on how I can fix this? My phone is an iPhone 8 and I have the latest version of the Teams app installed. TIA!
Adding an on-premise intranet page to the teams menu using app studio
We have an old on premise intranet site, the URL uses the format https://intranet.contoso.com/pages/default.aspx The site is only accessible to internal users. I've tried following guides online to add the intranet to teams using app studio, but I just get a blank page upon completion. Saying that I also tried changing the url to https://www.google.comto test but I got the same issue... Am I doing something wrong? Cheers,
