Hi, I have been running in circles with support and I am not getting anywhere, i need to raise my concern about a bug in MS Teams which causes your uploaded sharepoint files to be corrupt, and lose all contents. I have reproduced this in 3 different tenants now, for multiple users and multiple computers, it absolutely is a bug. The bug exists int he "document library" tab within a team and the repro steps are simple: create a new or use an existing team. add the "document library" app for any sharepoint library in the teams client (web or desktop) drag&drop a file into this library. teams gives an error: failed to upload file, "Please check if the site is available....." the site is available, of course, you can still upload files into sharepoint directly. the file which failed to upload be seen in sharepoint but IS CORRUPT AND CANNOT BE OPENED I raised this with support but as usual it is not going anywhere. they want to have a 3 hour call collecting HAR files and fiddler logs etc, and want to spend the next few weeks asking me about my laptop- no thanks. Also raised it in uservoice but I doubt it will get any attention: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/908686-bug-reports/suggestions/41580901-document-library-tab-cannot-upload-or-drag-drop-f If we as users find a bug (A bad 1... which affects all tenants and causes our files to become corrupt..... for example) HOW can we escalate these effectively? this is hopelessSolved8.8KViews0likes18CommentsMicrosoft Teams: User request flows for blocked apps

Hi all, The company I work for has decided to start using Teams instead of face-to-face training. As it's quite a large company (over 1600 staff) it's not really feasible to expect them all to download the App on mobile. Is it possible to use the internet browser on your phone to join a meeting? I've tried inviting my own personal email account and all it says is 'Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid' so I've tried opening it in Microsoft Edge and Chrome (on mobile) which tells me I've got to install the Teams app, no option to join via the website. When I download the app it works fine, but like I said, people aren't going to want to download the app for a one off training session? I'm very new to Teams so anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan4.8KViews0likes2CommentsI cannot sign in to the Teams app on desktop, nor on web.
I cannot sign in, after clicking on the button it displays a message "We couldn't sign you in. Please try again." and when I try again this repeats indefinitely. I have tried this both on Firefox and Edge and it doesn't resolve. Meanwhile, the app can't load at all, after some time it displays a message "We're sorry - we've run into an issue. Try again. If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in." which I have tried with the same result. However, Teams on mobile works just fine without any complications. I have also posted the same question on answers.microsoft.com and an agent advised me to post it here for more help.4.3KViews0likes4CommentsExternal links of communications site in Teams personal app opens twice
I'm using a SharePoint Modern communications site as a personal app in my tenant. Last week, links pointing to external sites started opening twice when from the desktop (windows) app. Mobile or Web is not affected. What can I do to prevent the link from being opened twice?4KViews0likes7CommentsTeams iOS app notification issues
Hello all! I use the Teams iOS app on my phone for work, and have set quiet days/hours for when I don't want to see notifications. However, I still receive notifications during those hours/days. I've tried toggling the setting on and off, deleting/reinstalling the app, and resetting my phone, but no dice. Any ideas on how I can fix this? My phone is an iPhone 8 and I have the latest version of the Teams app installed. TIA!2.7KViews0likes3CommentsAdding an on-premise intranet page to the teams menu using app studio
We have an old on premise intranet site, the URL uses the format https://intranet.contoso.com/pages/default.aspx The site is only accessible to internal users. I've tried following guides online to add the intranet to teams using app studio, but I just get a blank page upon completion. Saying that I also tried changing the url to https://www.google.comto test but I got the same issue... Am I doing something wrong? In my company we have a Team with several channels. Some of these channels are shared with guest users and we have limited their grants to restricted view (using SharePoint). We don' t want they can download the files... From computer (web & app) all works fine, they can view the files but the can't edit or download Where we have a problem is with the Teams app in their mobiles. When they try to see this files, they obtain this: They can't view but the can donwload and we can't accept this behaviour. Somebody know how can we find a solution? Regards1.8KViews0likes2Comments
