App Protection Policies
6 TopicsEnsure Work Profile used for Outlook app
I was piloting an Android app protection policy to ensure that when a user attempted to sign into Outlook on their Personal tray, it prompted them to install Company Portal, and would not allow their corporate mail to be accessed on the "personal" Outlook app. When I now go to edit the policy, I do not see where this was configured. I believe it was under 'App-level settings' or something to that effect, but that is no longer present. Has this functionality been removed? Is there another way to do this? Any help with this would be great, as i was going to use this to round up a lot of unmanaged phones in our environment.Solved2.3KViews0likes2Commentsno file sharing or downloads message when tap document library in teams tab

I have configure a test domain in Hybrid Azure AD mode, all SharePoint access to Office files it fine and they all display the briefcase. I have added our local AD server IP and our local domain to the WIP network boundaries. When I try to access any office file on the network share, I receive an error of “you cannot open \\filerserver\file.xlsx”, but I can open a notepad file from the same network share. I can create/edit/delete notepad files from the network location. How do I set WIP to open the file from my local domain on server1(192.168.16.10)? Outlook mobile for iOS now includes a feature that lets you install Add-Ins on the mobile client. Although I see how this could be viewed as a great and conducive feature for the user, there is a significant problem it brings up - it circumvents the app protection policies applied to the Outlook app. For example: I have my corporate email added to the Outlook iOS app that is containerized with our app protection policies, I then add the Evernote add-in and sign in with my personal account information, I'm now able to save corporate emails to my personal evernote. And as far as I can tell, I as an administrator have no visibility into this. Is there a way to disable these add-ins from an administration standpoint that I might be missing?Solved7.2KViews0likes8Comments
