I have been using Azure for Students with my students and recently i noticed that resource locations of new resources are now restricted by a policy. In addition allowed locations vary between different student accounts so you have to check allowed locations with each student. What i recall, I did not not see any info from this change and was a quite a curve ball at first :)Solved611Views2likes6CommentsWEBINAR: Agentic AI in the Modern Lab: Transforming R&D productivity with Copilot for Researcher

Hi Azure for Student accounts now has policy that restricts regions in which resources can be created. Now when you are creating an application in Azure Web App (Advanced tab) you have a drop down to choose Region for Azure API and staging environments. In drop down there only few regions. None of those regions are in the list of allowed regions defined in the policy. Not able to create a Static Web App in Azure Web Apps is not a biggie but annoying at the least.148Views0likes3CommentsFaculty: Ready to Level Up with AI?
