Admin Center
7 TopicsYour credentials didn't work - try again
I have this weird issue with WAC atm I have a server which has RBAC enabled, my non-admin domain user; called for example Pete is added to the admin group (so he cant use powershell etc...) When I try to access the server as Pete using WAC, it says my credentials didn't work. Here comes the weird thing: I can access the server as for example my domain admin. If I first do that, go back to the main screen and click menage as and then fill in Pete's credentials it works, with the limited access to the server as the role described. Is there a solution for this?12Views0likes0CommentsAdmin Center Alerts
Hi, I am trying to look for ways of setting up alerts in Windows Admin Center. Is there a possibility of getting email alerts from Windows Center if Servers, Clusters or other are down or experiencing performance issues? I am not looking to pay for Azure monitor however. Hi There, We are running a large set of Win 2019 distributed servers with a managed Active Directory on AWS. I would like to use the Admin center to remotely manage those servers + the AD extension to manage the AWS managed AD. I this supported? at this early investigation point, I am in a stage that the AD extension is not loaded and coming up in the menu. All other basic function looks working. Thx, Nir.2.2KViews1like0CommentsUsability
While I do like the new admin center, but why should I really use this over just RDP'ing into the server. You have some of the modules (Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS) in preview mode, but they really aren't useable. The other thing is in most RDP connection manager we can have multiple tabs open, but in Windows Admin Center you can only have one connection to a server, cluster, etc. Don't have the ability to click and tell it to open in a new tab. Not sure if this is really a place for it, but there doesn't seem to be a Group Policy module and maybe not something that can be put into Windows Admin Center.860Views1like0Comments
