Hi All; I want to write login events (success or failure) on Active Directory whenever users login to my application that is using Active Directory for authentication. I am doing this for audit purposes. Is this necessary? Is it possible and how?615Views0likes2CommentsCan't invite deleted Guest User "We ran into an issue. Please try again later."
Good morning Microsoft community We have to delete an Guest-User from our AD and reinvite the Guest-User into a team - the reason is a workaround for a PowerBI problem. I have a short, but for me an unsolveable question: I deleted the Guest-User and permanently deleted him inside of the "deleted users". After more than 24h i tried to reinvite him into a team. What now happens, is that he still get listed in the memberdropdown menu and if i click on him, the following message appears. As information: I cant just type his mailadress inside the invitation-box, without picking his saved mailadress from the dropdown-list - otherwise it doesn't recognize a new guest-user. I hope someone can help me. Thank you very much! Kind regards B_GenSolved7.1KViews0likes6CommentsTeams Org Chart
The Teams Org Chart is incredibly handy, but it seems to have a few quirks. When someone leaves the company, we disable their AD account, and then we convert them to a shared mailbox for a time period. These users still show up in the Org Chart. Has anyone come up with a way to have AD Disabled users excluded from the org chart? Best I can tell, a full delete is really the only way to get them out of the org chart. Does it still use the old SharePoint Profile sync to manage what shows up? I am not sure where to start at trying to only show active employees. Teams is where the exposure is. But I suspect maybe it comes down to a process more than anything else?Solved9.5KViews2likes9CommentsDisable teams (and/or Onedrive) from specific computers within enterprise network
Hello, I work for a company that manages its devices and device users through active directory. What I'd like to achieve is to have a group of computers where whoever logs in can access Office 365, but not Teams, and ideally not Onedrive either. Those people would still be able to access Teams and Onedrive from other devices or from a web browser, and would also be able to use Office Word and Excel from the computers I want to disable the use of Teams on. Is this possible?1.7KViews0likes4CommentsIt is possible to hide Active Directory personal user information to external Microsoft 365 users?
Hi All, As a Company, we have the Active Directory connector to synchronize our local AD info to Azure AD. Our users then can login with our AD credentials to all Microsoft 365 services and all info about users are synchronized with their online account. Now, we have noted a privacy violation of internal information when our Teams users invite external users. All these external users are able to see the full list of Active Directory information related to the internal users that have joined the meeting (personal phone number, mobile number, internal number, street, city, etc.). Does all these information should be protected by default as stated by the GDPR compliance? (privacy by design and privacy by default) I have opened a ticket to the Technical support, but they closed the ticket telling me that "it is normal" and invited my to open a question on the Microsoft portals. Do you know if there is a way to exclude access to our internal AD information from external users?1.4KViews0likes3CommentsTeams Free + Azure Directory - Feature or Bug ?
Hello ! I would like to share my experience with MS Teams. Not sure if it's a bug or a "feature". Use Case: - sign to a Teams Free account and create your organization. Use your personal e-mail. - go to http://portal.azure.com using the same personal e-mail, and you will notice that a new directory has been created with the name (or quite similar) of your "Teams Organization". If you are an Azure administrator, you will see a lot of "new directories" in your profile (top right of the Azure management console screen). I think it got really messy 😐 . also, any "free member" of my "free Teams organization" can start an Azure trial. Any ideas? Weber Ress852Views0likes0Comments
