Hello I've got a problem. I need to clone some PC with Windows 10 OEM license. I've prepared a 2022 WDS Server with a W10Pro image (iso from an MVLSC), the deployment works without problem. BUT I can't activate my Licence because i guess he's looking for an KMS license... Maybe I don't understand something, maybe I do womething wrong. Could you please help me what is really possible with a 2022 WDS Server and an W10Pro OEM ? Thank you very much1.9KViews0likes2CommentsWorking with multiple work accounts on a windows 10 device
Hello everyone I think it's time for me to vent my frustration about working with multiple work/education accounts on a windows 10 device... First of all, I have 3 Microsoft Accounts (1x Personal; 1x Work; 1x Education) and oh boy, it's very very frustrating to get all these 3 Accounts work together on the same windows 10 device with one Userprofile. Working with my Personal and Work (or Education) account on the same device works fine, no problems, but as soon as I add additionally either my Work or Education Account in the Windows 10 settings under "Account > Email & accounts" things starting to get complicated. Sync issues across every app that uses one of these work/education accounts (classic Office Apps, ToDo, Edge, OneNote) Upload blocks in the office apps (Word, Excel...) & Credential Errors 4x/day a notification toast that my work accounts need to fix... blabla -> I click okay, now fix it -> Accounts fixed -> later in the day, same error occurs... I just want to use all my accounts on the same device with the same Userprofile, I really love the Microsoft 365 Platform but these things driving me crazy. I had a time, in there I worked completely online, but yeah, we all know how cool it is to work with the online versions of Office Apps. I also tried multi-bootable windows installations or multiple Userprofiles and it worked, but I often need to access files/services that are stored in the OneDrive from my Education Account or vise versa, so it's really impracticable. Then I tried to link my accounts just in these apps where I need it, but Windows 10 really have fun on it to write in my accounts under the named windows 10 settings location. Has anyone a best practice, tips/tricks etc. everything helps... Thanks.25KViews3likes12CommentsWindows 10 1903 Group Policy Issues after OSD
Hi, We've recently started deploying Windows 10 1903 (First Win 10 version too...) with SCCM 1902 with MDT and group policy appears to apply, according to the logs but then we find certain settings not actually applied, even though a gpresult shows them as being applied. Checking the various reg keys etc. for our policy settings on a client, I have seen that all of our GPO settings get applied and then some but not all get mysteriously removed, for example the Interactive Logon message gets applied but then removed, as in the registry value is removed. Running a gpupdate /force after this has happened, appears to fix the issue. However using the SMSTSPostAction variable to run a script or command to update Group Policy, doesn't work either, the script/command runs (As per log files) but the above does still occur until we run a gpupdate /force (A ordinary gpupdate does nothing, so most of the time reboots etc. do nothing). We have no Group Policy related Group Policy settings (As in the ones that control whether CSEs process during slow links etc. and whether they process even though there are no changes) and we cannot find any other reason for this not to work correctly. I think until we find a fix, using the RunOnce reg key/value maybe the workaround... Would someone at Microsoft be able to confirm whether this is a confirmed issue at Microsoft and whether there is a fix for it please? Or if there is a fix incoming as potentially some of our security related GPOs are not being correctly applied. Many thanks, Luke8.7KViews0likes15Comments
