Problem with copilot and sidebar
Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well! I recently installed Windows 10 and am using the Edge browser. However, I'm experiencing some issues: I can't open Copilot, and the sidebar doesn't seem to work. When I click the Copilot icon or press the sidebar shortcut (Ctrl + Shift + E), nothing happens. Additionally, I noticed that the sidebar settings do not show the usual options for apps and notifications. This is my first time encountering such issues, and I would appreciate any guidance or solutions. Thank you!
Edge is better than Arc?
I recently tried "The ARC browser" (windows build) and I believe that apart from some visual elements and hype, edge is better or at least at par with it. Although the new tab opening style and the space changing way is better there, with a few improvements and more importantly with better publicity, Edge could be and should be the most popular browser out there. Thoughts?
Turn on Edge Extension for other user
Hi, I am trying to run UFT scripts usingMicro Focus UFT Agent - Microsoft Edge Addonsextension. The extension is installed and enable for my user. But when any system account is trying to login into the machine, the extension is there but not turned on. Dear community, we are using RDS with Edge an a policy to force the user to login to edge with their M365-Account. The User-Profile is saved on a shared drive and users are working with roaming profiles. If the user logs in to edge, the sync works. After logoff and re login, the sync is disabled with the status : In the GPO i also force the sync to be enabled and activated each "element?" my guess is that Edge might store authentication data in the Local AppData, which gets removed upon logoff, causing sync failure upon re-login. Deleting the profile and re-logging into Edge likely regenerates this data, reestablishing a trusted authentication and "resolving" the sync issue. - just my guess. Somebody ever faced such issue and have a fix for me ?
Can't turn off Copilot in detached sidebar
I just updated to EdgeVersion 120.0.2210.61and on my detached sidebar I noticed the Copilot logo has reappeared. I went into settings to shut it back off, and found it was shut off. I have a very specific list of apps that fill the whole side bar and do not need a novelty chatbot crowding it and making it so I have to scroll down. How can I remove the Copilot from thedetached sidebar? If I reattach it, it is not there, but the sidebar is then shorterand also forces me to reload when I use the same site in a different edge window.
Specific workspace crashes Edge (only 14 tabs)
One specific workspace refuses to open up successfully. Instead, it crashes my whole Edge (Dev). I've tried almost every tip out there - disabling all extensions, repairing Edge, restarting Edge and laptop. Also tried in stable and Canary builds. Anyone any ideas on how I might recover the workspace or at least see the tabs I had saved in there so I can recreate it? UPDATE: have just managed to open the workspace in BETA channel (again, crashes in DEV and Canary although DEV has been fine with this workspace until now or at least the last week or so when I must have when I must have last opened it). Thanks.
