Driver installing issues via Windows Update
An issue regarding installing drivers from Windows Update. This happens on my testing machine, Lenovo G580 . It started on Windows Server 2022, the previews RTM, based on Windows 10, not just on Windows Server vNext, based on Windows 11. Some chipset driver appears twice in Optional Updates. The only way to get what is in there installed, at least apparently, is to install the optional updates one by one, not at once. And the chipset driver update that appears twice is installed, it may appear again and again, until I check Windows Update again. Sometimes it gets installed with error message. Sometimes, on update history, it appears completely unlisted, other times it appears for each install once, then, after a reboot and a new update check, it appears only once.
The update is labeled
INTEL - System - 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM - 10.1.1.42
There is another update, a card reader driver update, that blocks the new integrity function in Windows Defender.
