Windows Server 2019 SYSTEM Process handles in the millions
Hello,
I have a Windows server 2019 which has a very ugly issue.
The System allocates amazing amounts of RAM which can't be released again. (28GB)
And it also has a huge amount of handles (over 11 Million)
After checking where it goes, it seems to be all inside paged pool
As you can see here, seems to be a huge amount of Token handlers?
Someone has a good idea how to pin down the issue?
I run out of ideas.
The system is running on VMWare ESXi 6.7
Best Regards
Marcos

- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorIt is not easy but maybe you should use process explorer and process monitor to investigate more on this issue.
If possible, perform a Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?- MSuarezCopper Contributor
Hello Reza_Ameri,
The Problem persist on 12 different Machines to be more accurate.
Clean boots did not help.
- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorDo you have access to any Windows 10 or Windows 11 devices?
If yes, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and file a bug report and select Windows Sever. Make sure share steps to reproduce the problem.
In case you have any log files make sure attach them.
