We have a Windows Server 2016 operating as a file server. It has about several TB of data. When multiple users try to access files on the server or use a program that access files on the server. It causes user to lag, hang, freeze for a while. This only tends to happen during work hours with multiple users accessing the same files. We tried monitoring tools to check to see if it's performance issue. We also tried adding more NIC card to increase throughput, but to no surprise, it didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?
