Hi There
I have just installed Hyper-V 2016 Core and created my first VM. I have added a DVD and pointed to a Windows 2012 R2 ISO image I what to install.
I have set the VM up as Generation 2 with 8 GB RAM
When i try to start the VM to install the 2012 R2 OS I get an error. 'The application encountered an error while attempting to change the state of 'new virtual machine' - failed to change state
In the administrative events there seems to be 2 errors
Event ID 12030 from source Microsoft-Windows-Hyper-v-Worker cannot be found. the handle is invalid
and
Event ID 12140 from source Microsoft-Windows-Hyper-v-SynthStor cannot be found. the handle is invalid
Please help !!!!!!!
