Difference between KB and MS
Hi,
I have to update a server with a list of updates and patches different MS Vulnerability and KB numbers. I can download the KBs from the catalogue but I need to know what is a difference between a MS Vulnerability and KB is? Or is MS Vulnerability it cover by KB?
Thank you.
The MS is vulnerability code and they address security issues. While KB stands for Knowledge Base and describes article associated with the vulnerability. Some KB are also not security issue and you should read the article to see whether they cover a security issue or not.
In Windows 10, you will receive cumulative updates meaning one update contains fix for performance, bug, security and other issues.
