WinSxS occupying more space

Hello,

I have windows server 2019 with two issues and i think both the connected.

1)Windows Cumulative Updates failed to install

2)C:\Windows\WinSxS\Temp\PendingDeletes consuming ~40 GB.

Is it safe to delete this manually ?
